Trail-worthy function, town-worthy style.
Your lightweight puffy had itself quite the summer last year. Between camping, biking, and hiking, the jacket you bought to do a little bit of everything is showing its allegiance to your more active pursuits. Rather than continuing to wear it around town, mud stains and all, add the Patagonia Men's Lightweight Crankset Jacket to the casual side of your closet to enjoy the same water resistance and breathable insulation of your puffy, with a look that's more suited to town than trails.
Of course, the Lightweight Crankset still received a host of practical tech from Patagonia, so it's far from just a pretty face. A recycled polyester shell with a DWR treatment covers you in windy, drizzly conditions, while 40g of breathable Thermogreen insulation helps hold heat close whether you're dealing with wet or dry weather. Patagonia wisely added a back vent to keep air moving on long walks, as well as a stowaway hood with reflective accents for especially wet days. And if you find yourself a passenger on a long drive or on an impromptu camping trip, stuff the entire jacket inside it's own chest pocket; it makes for a cushy pillow in a pinch.

- Q & A
almost exactly what I was looking for
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: small
- Height: 5'7"
- Weight: 145lbs
What I like:
-Great for easy day hikes or running around town
-Water resistant enough for snow or a light drizzle
-Nice deep side pockets and a chest pocket big enough for a phone
-I wish it were cut slimmer (it's a bit boxy on my frame especially in the arms)
-I wish it had at least one interior pocket
-I wish the cuffs were adjustable or at least had tighter elastic (it's too loose and feels sloppy)
