Hangers and closets? Who needs them when you have prime real estate for piles of gear in the trusty Patagonia Ultralight Black Hole 30L Duffel Bag. Constructed in the same way as the OG Black Hole series, this duffel differentiates itself from the rest of the flock with a lighter material and a more minimalist design. The lightweight, yet durable, nylon ripstop fabric is equipped with a TPU film and DWR treatment that fends off beer spills, dog drool, and precipitation, while the diagonal zipper touts a girthy opening for easy access to necessities, gear, or the all-important snacks.

Just enough for the essentials
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I originally bought this duffel because I didn't have any room in my suitcase to fit the extra things I acquired on my last trip. I wanted a small duffel since I already had a backpack with me. I thought this bag worked out great and it fit a decent amount of clothes. I now use this bag for when I go mountain biking. Keep my helmet, gloves, knee pads, shoes, and sunglasses together in one spot. I'm also able to put a change of clothes in there as well. If you're looking for a weekender bag, I don't think this would be as good as the larger sized Black Hole Duffel (40L or 55L). But if you're doing a quick day trip or even an overnight, this bag would suffice.
