I bought these pants after spending some quality time investigating size charts, product reviews, and friends' feedback of their own gear. I LOVE the Hampi Rock Pants so much and am so pleased with the purchase. The fabric is comfortable and flexible, the fit is excellent for my willowy body type, and the cuffed hem/deep pockets are functional features. My only critiques are: First, the inseam is a little shorter than my leg length but I wear them pulled up on my calves so it's not a concern and, second, the waistband fits my natural waist like a dream but there's a slight squeeze to get it past my hips/booty. The fit is perfect from my waist to my calves once I'm wearing the pants. Definite flexibility for climbing, yoga, and biking as well as comfortability for lounging. I intend to buy several more pairs in the same size.

I got these for a trip to China, where I wanted something lightweight and modest. These fit the bill: they look more dressy than tights, breathe well, and have good pockets. I agree with the other reviews about the seat of the pants being tight, but getting them on is fine if you pull up from the waistband. My biggest issue was where the cuffs landed on my legs, they felt pretty tight. This usually was fine, unless I'm sitting when they'd be tight on my calves. If you're not 6" or have really slender legs, you're probably fine. The only other downside is that they do get a little baggy after multiple uses without washing and there was some pilling of the fabric right away.

I absolutely love these pants. They fit and look so cute on. As mentioned in other post, the waste band is a little tight getting over the backside when taking them off and on. But it didn’t stop me from buying a second pair.

Bought these pants for an upcoming trip, but couldn't wait to put them on and start wearing them. The hemp material is so soft and breathable and the elastic waist makes these so perfect for everyday use and for traveling. The only issue I have had is that the seam along the top under the elastic does not allow the full waistband to stretch which makes them a little difficult to take them on or off as I have a slightly larger backside. The cuffs are not too tight and add to the versatility of wearing them more scrunched or loose at the ends. Overall love these pants.

The best thing about these pants is how well they breathe. Perfect for summer climbing but also for long haul flights! The waistband isn't super stretchy, so I have to wiggle a bit to get them over my hips / butt, but they don't restrict movement at all on the wall.

I bought these for rock climbing and was a bit thrown off by the material when I got it as it feels a bit more stiff than I had anticipated and wasn't sure how that would work for climbing and needing some stretch in the pants but after one wash and wear they are softer and are pretty good for the purpose I intended. The dolomite blue is true to the colour online. I think the pants fit true to size for me, they aren't super tight but aren't like hanging off me either.

Like other people mentioned, getting these pants over your butt can make you think, "Did I get the right size?" But once they're on they feel right. I might size up anyway to get more mobility in the knee because they still feel a bit constrained while climbing.

I got these pants in the pink color and LOVE them, very unique, comfortable and breathable. Perfect casual or climbing pant which is what I am using them for. At first the fabric was a bit itchy (I have super sensitive skin) but after a wash they were totally fine! The only weird thing is they are hard to pull on and off, the elastic waistband has a seam under it that is on the tight side so I kind of have to shimmy into them but once they are on they are a perfect fit everywhere!

I bought this for my wife, and these are her thoughts. I am 5’0, 104 lbs, and the XXS are the perfect length, but are a little too tight in the hips, and hard to put on. There seems to be some variability in the sizing, because I tried on the same sized Hampi pants in a different color, and those fit perfectly. The Tasmanian Teal is a very pretty blue-green color and the fabric is soft and light weight. 4 stars for size variability.

Great pants for climbing. Got these for gym climbing season but I can tell these will be great year round for a breathable pant for summer climbing outdoors. The material is soft and flexible and not restrictive in movement at all. Might fit a little on the larger side which I was anticipating since they are supposed to fit loose, but the XS is just small enough to fit me at 5'5" 105. Great purchase.

I love the color and style of these pants. I wore these pants while cycling one weekend. I noticed that in the right leg below the knee, the stitching frayed and looked almost "ripped" because of the material. But it really was just the stitching coming undone. The pants feel great and are comfortable but I wish it didn't rip after my 1st or 2nd wear. For the price and what I expect of Patagonia, I'm a bit disappointed.

They are amazing. At first, I thought they were hard to get on, but after a few washes, they became much easier to put on. They have become my favorite pants of all time and are super flattering to my athletic body type. I am highly considering purchasing in another color. (Tip: with getting the pants off and on easily is to only pull from the elastic waistband and not from the hemp)

I'm wearing these pants right now and have no intention on climbing today. I bought these for climbs, and have found them to be so comfortable and versatile that I wear them QUITE often. They are a little tricky to take on and off because the of tie-waist but that doesn't bother me much. The stretch waistband, internal pockets, and overall structure of the pant are great for long days on the wall. Would also be great for travel, long hikes or general casual wear.
