Best sweatshirt ever

This is everything I have ever wanted in a sweatshirt! The body is a bit cropped for a feminine look, but the sleeves are perfect for my longish arms. I love that the pockets are tucked away on the side seams. I ordered a size up anticipating a little shrinkage and am glad I did.

Love this hoody from Patagonia! Almost nothing Patagonia makes fits me anymore, so I've switched to mostly buying Arcteryx, but this hoody fits great! I thought it would be too cropped for my taste, but it's not. Both the XS & small fit, but I went with the small for the little bit of extra length and a more relaxed fit. Super soft on the inside, slightly stiffer outside than a standard sweatshirt, but I like it because it helps it hold it's shape and not look sloppy. The only thing they could have done different, is not have the side pockets--they're completely useless, but not really in the way, so it's ok.

This hoody is cozy, but not the thickest sweatshirt ever. The cut is a bit short which I like for rock climbing, stays out of my harness.

Crunchy material and poor fit

I love Patagonia stuff. I have never bought something I disliked. The quality of this sweatshirt is poor. The fabric is very stiff and uncomfortable (super odd for Patagonia stuff. It’s usually super soft). The cut is very weird. It’s very short and even after returning my original medium for a large, it still isn’t ideal for girls with a large chest. I was hoping a few washes in fabric softener would help make this fabric relax but it hasn’t changed it at all. Overall pretty bummed with this one. Absolutely not BC’s fault. They handled my exchange super well as usual. Just a crummy shirt and a waste of $70 in my opinion.
