Love Love Love this parka. I wore this in Colorado over the holidays and was not disappointed even with the windchill factor of -37 degrees (a real cold snap).

Bought this for my college student daughter who does a lot of walking around campus in Indiana. She absolutely loves it. It's true to size for her and extremely warm and comfortable. Not too bulky when wearing a backpack and the perfect weight. The detachable hood is a nice touch. It's the perfect length for her; just to the knee. She couldn't be happier with the purchase.

I am moving to the mountains and needed a warm long jacket, this is perfect! The length is a little long but definitely worth it for cold winter days or snowy trips taking the dogs outside. I ordered a medium for a roomy fit so I could wear a sweater underneath. I’m 5’7 and It hits just above my knees. Love the brown color. Always recommend Patagonia and this jacket is why!

Coat runs small. I purchased a large and I’m usually a medium in most clothes and coats. This coat is just what I was looking for. It hits below the knee (I’m 5’3”) and it’s warm. I have room to put a thick sweater underneath for those really cold & snowy days in New Jersey.

The warmest coat I have ever owned

I was looking for a replacement for an off-brand full-length puffer coat that got damaged, and what I found in this coat is a huge upgrade in every way except one. Pros: SUPER WARM! Soft-lined pockets. Comfy hood. Snug but easy fit. Water resistant shell. Con: It's much heavier than the coat I am replacing. But that coat is not water resistant, and I think the shell alone adds the extra heft. So while I will probably still look for a lighter weight replacement, I am keeping this one for the coldest of winter days! (Just one sizing note: It's snug around the hips for me, and I don't have especially curvy hips/bum. If you do, you may want to size up.)

Whoever at Patagonia who designed this coat is a genius! It's the very first down coat that actually flatters a woman's body. The cut is slim but not tight, and has a somewhat A-line shape, not a puffy boxy look. I love it. (For size information I am 5'7 and weigh 140 lbs. The large is perfect! I love this coat so much!!! (1 week wearing it) I hate the cold - so this coat is a game changer for me! I am only 5'3" and weigh 105lbs. The SMALL fit well & gives me plenty of room to layer. I have very narrow shoulders & small arms; so the XS would have fit, but looked more tailored. I bought it for the warmth (will likely wear my 2-3 layers of shirts during the cold months) and am very happy with it!!! Great feature: Once zipped up, you can un-zip from the bottom to allow more leg room.

I bought this for my daughter to wear this winter at a New England college right on the ocean. She has yet to wear it but we do have comments on the sizing. It is longer than she would like coming right down to her knees but she decided that would be okay for extra warmth and protection from the cold and wind. We first tried the XS which fit her like a glove everywhere but the shoulder and arm area. That was with a summer t shirt underneath and she does not have broad shoulders. So we exchanged for the small so she would have room to get a layer underneath. While it looks a tad big on her small frame it is much more comfortable for her in the arms.

Little too long

I wanted to love this parka. It?s almost perfect but too long. I am 5?8? weigh 165 and Purchased a large. It is well below my knee and looks silly on me. It is super warm, comfy and has a flattering slimmer fit. Just too long for me so its going back.
