An outdoor girl's sweater vest.
Keep your little one looking mountain chic in the Patagonia Girls' Down Sweater Vest. Made with a polyester ripstop fabric, you won't have to worry about your little lady tearing a hole in it during her first snowball fight. And with a DWR finish, this vest will repel moisture leaving it's 600-fill down dry and insulating. With two hand warmer pockets she'll be able to get her hands nice and warm when her digits get chilly. And with an internal draw cord at the hem and spandex binding at the armholes she'll keep all that warm and cozy air inside, where it should be.

This vest is beautiful. It's a great cut even for your girl's frame and I also purchased the infants in the same color so sisters match (tender). It did however run long and a good size larger than we find her to wear in North Face or Burton apparel. A small will be perfect for her being very tall and thin at 9 years old. So with her not being very average in sizing it's hard to say if it's true to size. According to the size chart she should be a Medium so I believe they do run LARGE. Definitely a keeper and great purchase. Since you don't have to worry about sleeve length she will have room to grow for next year as well, money well spent.
Can you tell me the length (collar to hem) and the width (at the widest part) of this vest please. Thanks!
Hi Elizabeth, what size do you need measured?
What size child (height/weight) would wear the large? I'm a very petite woman (5', 100lbs) and the women's sizes are too big (yes, even the XS!) so I"m wondering if Large or X-Large would be better?
My 16 year old daughter is also your size and weight Amy, the XL is the size that fits her. She is a bit busty so that factors in, and the XL gives her enough room if she wears a thicker shirt underneath.
