    Down Sweater

From snowy romps around the park to cool days on the ski hill, the Patagonia Girls' Down Sweater provides your growing gal with the same dependable warmth that the adult-sized Down Sweater offers you. Packed full of 600-fill traceable down, this full-zip jacket is designed to assure ample and adaptive warmth, even when the temperatures are more cool than comfortable. And since the down insulation is a part of Patagonia's traceable down initiative, this means that the insulation never comes from animals that are live-plucked or force-fed. Meanwhile, the polyester ripstop fabric is durable enough to handle her rough-and-tumble play with her furry, four-legged friends, and it repels snow so she won't be soaking wet when she comes in for hot cocoa at the end of the day.

    • A cool weather staple for your growing gal
    • Traceable down fill is lightweight and insulating
    • DWR-treated fabric fends off wind and light precipitation
    • Zippered hand pockets offer cozy respite
    • Drawcord hem helps seal out cold drafts
    • Fabrics are bluesign approved
    • Item #PAT025R

    Given as a Gift

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    • Fit: True to size

My wife and I purchased the product to give as a gift. My wife thought the coat was cute and the little girl we have the coat to loves it.

    Great Jacket

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

I bought this jacket for my 9 year old niece. She loves it, her mom loves it. My niece is a colorado girl so having a good warm jacket is essential and this jacket fits the bill. 600 fill down and a DWR treated shell, keeps her dry and cozy whether shes chasing her sister in the backyard or cruising the ski slopes.

    Warm Jacket

I bought this jacket for my daughter She loves it and says it is warm. This is her go-to jacket for school. The only complaint I have about this jacket is the Down is slowly coming out. I wish there was a better way of making sure the Down stays in. I also wish it had a hood, but overall the jacket is warm and comfy.

Love the silver gray patterned outside, not available in WOMENS! I guess I'm lucky at age 60 to fit in girls sizes! Thanks for a great fitting unique jacket.

      Great lightweight and warm jacket

My kids each have one of these jackets and they are always their first pick when they're leaving the house. I don't think that they're overly puffy at all. They're pretty slim, fits great in lockers, keep the kids warm down to about 15-20 degrees in the snow. We travel with these and they're super easy to throw into carry on bags or suitcases. Cuffs on the sleeves aren't too tight. We have the midnight color with pink trim and it looks great after a ton of wear. We will be buying more of these in the future, as the kids grow!

Bought a couple of these for two of my daughters and they love them. Light weight but very warm and they wear them in various temps. Very happy with the purchase!

      Perfect Jacket

I bought this jacket for Oregon weather (when we don't have the rain), I wanted the kids to have quality and be able to grown into these jackets. So far they love them, it's perfect for 30'-60' cold weather. If need be they can add a 2nd layer (sweatshirt).
      Love the these!!!

Perfect! Just what you expect form Patagonia. Stylish! Durable! Warm! I have two girls and they absolutely love their jackets. This is typical Patagonia quality. They put them through the ringer and are like new. No problems with any of the down filling coming out. Very warm and comfortable.

      Typical Patagonia! Perfect!

I have two girls and each received one for Xmas. My girls put everything through the ringer. Typical Patagonia quality with no issues at all. Looks great. Worn on a daily basis and on cold days as a base layer under their ski jackets. They are very stylish as well and we know that can be just as important.

      Homerun for the kids

I have three girls 10/8/5 and they live in these. I mean day and night, seems like a part of them now. Very warm, not bulky, have taken a solid beating. They like the fit, not boxy, handy pockets. I think the lighter colors don't do as well with stains, like anything, so I stick to dark now. Worth it but even better on sale!

      Best girls jacket ever!

Just purchased our 3rd Patagonia Down Sweater for our girls. Warm enough for all but the coldest winter days and cozy like a sweatshirt. Great 3 season versatility. Nice feminine cut - tough build - will survive all 4 of my girls.

      Best girls jacket ever!

      Perfect for picky girls

I bought this for my daughter last year and it has been her go to jackets on chilly summer nights and all her winter adventures. The jacket is extremely light and packs down to tje size of a softball. So moms you can stuff it in your purse on your way to the park without any problem and be prepared when your little one gives in and complains she's cold. It will keep her warm to the 20s as a stand alone. All in all this is a great jacket.

        Unanswered Question

I ordered this jacket but we live in Minnesota and it gets -20 or more. I ordered it for my daughter and want her to be warm each day at school. Should I continue with this jacket or is there another one that would be warmer? it seems kind of thin. I have gotten puffy north face ones and marmot ones before but my daughter likes the color blue and this one she liked!
