Beware of odor retention of this fabric

The fit and feel of this shirt is great. However, I've had to bin the shirt as I simply cannot keep odors out of the fabric. I have multiple other synthetics, and none present the issue anywhere near the level of this shirt. So I can only conclude it's something with the specific fabric of this shirt. Even the best detergents, vinegar, etc doesn't not eliminate odors, which return towards the end of next wear.
