    Meet in the middle.

You know the dilemma: you're sweltering with your technical shell on, but as soon as you take it off, the brisk wind has you shivering in your baselayer. Split the difference between fleece and shell with the Patagonia Men's Crosstrek Hybrid Hooded Fleece Jacket.

Its DWR-treated ripstop front panel protects your core from biting breezes and repels rain, while Polartec Power Stretch fleece throughout the rest of the jacket offers flex and breathability so you stay cool and mobile. Flat seam stitching offers a smooth, chafe-free feel, and it reduces bulk for a better fit when the weather actually gets harsh enough to layer the Crosstrek Hybrid under a shell. It also has a streamlined hood that can be worn under a helmet when venturing into technical alpine terrain.

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large
    • Height: 6'4"
    • Weight: 215lbs

Has to be the most comfortable lightweight but still impossibly warm jacket I have ever owned. Perfect for Reno weather spring, fall, winter it passes for all seasons but the heat obviously. Highly recommended just might want to buy a few because all your other sweaters and jackets will be left hanging.

    Quiver Killer

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large
    • Height: 6'0"
    • Weight: 205lbs

I love this thing overall. I'm 6', 205 pounds, and have a large. Fit is great, looks great on, and suits basically everything I do (riding, hiking, running, climbing). It's so comfy, warm, and versatile, I have donated some of my other fleeces/jackets to friends who need 'em. This one s a quiver killer for sure, and less is more. My only regret is that weeks after I bought it, Backcountry put it on a deep sale (aww man). Some notes: The zipper on the Navy Blue is NOT RED, like the other items in the Patagonia fall 2017 line would lead you to believe. In person, it is far more neon orange. Also, it is very reflective (this is not mentioned).

    Love it

Honestly it's one of my favorite things. Not favorite fleece but favorite thing period. I use it for everything... hiking, mountain biking, commuting, snowboarding, backpacking. I was on the fence about buying it and now I only regret not buying it sooner.

      More sweatshirt less jacket

      • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: XL
      • Height: 6'5"
      • Weight: 220lbs

The fit and look of the item was spot on but I thought it would be bulkier/heavier. Was very surprised at how thin and light it was. Could not use as a jacket and is definitely more of a sweatshirt. Looked great on my boyfriend who is 6’5” and 220lbs: long arms and good length. Just too lightweight.
