    City Storm Down Parka

When you think of winter in the city, you think of holiday decorations, gently falling snow, and winter wonderlands in the park. It's easy to forget about single digit temps, slushy snow, and your daily commuting battle against driving headwinds. Winter in the city can be brutal, but the Patagonia City Storm Parka is there to help you survive and thrive when storms blow.

Made with Patagonia's trusted H2No waterproofing, this parka's thick nylon shell cuts through wind and keeps you dry when snow and freezing rain threaten to ruin your day. On the inside you've got 700-fill recycled down insulation giving you full body warmth no matter what the thermostat says. An adjustable hood with a microfleece-lined collar provides added weather protection so you'll be covered when that 2-inch forecast turns into a whiteout. The City Storm keeps your valuables safe from the cold with plenty of storage. Two top-entry pockets are dual purposed with a side entry, giving you convenient handwarmer pockets for a quick escape from howling winds.

    • Stay warm and dry in winter weather with this down-insulated parka
    • H2No shell keeps you dry during long commutes on snowy days
    • 700-fill recycled down insulation offers breathable full-body warmth

    Feathers everywhere

    Familiarity:I've used it several times

Great looking jacket and very warm. The one problem for me was that this jacket leaked tons of feathers when wearing longer then 30 minutes, I'm talking covered in feathers. It was so unbearable that I went to patagonia and they were very nice, they gave me a new one but same problem. The hood is also pretty short didn't come up to my forehead. I just couldn't live with the feathers issue I wound up selling it on ebay because I didn't want to wind up with a lesser then I paid patagonia gift card

Great look and very warm but my coat leaks feathers, a lot of feathers.. very disappointing considering I’ve bought numerous Patagonia jackets and didn’t have this problem before.

    Love this parka!

I was looking for a rainproof, insulated parka-length coat I would not have to layer under and that I could wear in town. This garment covers every one of those bases and then some! When it is 15° cold and windy this thing protects you. On ski trip walks to dinner, from the parking lot to the office, the length and warmth allow you to avoid wearing multiple coats. It looks like an overcoat, not like you are preparing to summit Everest. I had to look it up to see what insulation it has (down) because I’ve never seen one feather leak out of it! One caution- I am often between medium and large shirt sizes; on me the medium fits great over a light fleece but anything thicker would be too tight. Get this for winter protection if you don’t want to wear three coats or look like you are on an expedition!

    Good jacket

I live in Philadelphia and bought this to be my primary city jacket. Overall it’s not bad. Not quite as warm as I had expected. Just wearing a shirt underneath, you’ll be comfortable wearing this jacket down to around 25 degrees. Any colder will likely require a lighter jacket underneath. There are a couple issues, the sleeves were just a tad short. I’m 6’1”, 190 and ordered a medium as recommended. Only other issue is the material used inside the collar that brushes against your face when fully zipped. I have a Patagonia ski jacket that has soft fabric, but the fabric in the city jacket isn’t nearly as soft and slightly scratchy. Besides that the jacket is great quality as expected from Patagonia.

    Patagonia City Storm Parka

I bought this for my dad, he lives in Rhode Island, it's wet and cold, and he said this jacket is awesome for the cold winter weather. Fits true to size, and is a longer cut which he really likes.

Hello! How many degrees cold it could endure? And which size do I need if I'm 178 cm tall and 72 kg weight?

Hi Maksim! Jackets usually are not rated to what temperature they're suitable in. This specific one is a pretty warm jacket, I would suggest chatting in or giving us a call though. One of our gearheads would love to chat with you about what you're using the jacket for and if it'll work well for you. As for sizing, we would need a little bit more info from you to tell what size would be a good fit for you.
