I was very disappointed to receive these and find out that they are see-through. I usually wear my base layers around the house before and after skiing and that would not be possible with these, due to how thin and see-through they are.

Picked these up for my fiance for the this year's ski season. They integrate perfectly with a ski sock and prevent bunching on top of your boots. Patagonia's thermal weight base layer is super warm. Needless to say, she loves them. They fit true to Patagonia's sizing.

Let the good times keep rolling. I switched all my base layers over the the capilene thermals last year and now im just adding to the quiver with the boot length version. Comes in handy when you have ultra tight boots and not a lot of room to spare. These base layers are so warm. It's deceiving because the material seems thin but ohhhh do they keep my toasty. love them. true to size.

I usually wear a medium — I've got muscular calves and often non-stretch pants are tight there. These fit nicely in the calves and waist, but are overall a little loose and baggy in the butt, crotch, and behind the knees. It may just be the material. The bagginess is mostly an aesthetic issue, and since I'm only wearing them under ski pants, I'm keeping 'em. I haven't tried these on the snow yet, but I have other Patagonia base layers in this material and I think they'll be plenty warm for a typical PNW day on the slopes.

I sized up based on the review below of being a bit snug in the waist. It is high waist which I actually enjoy. The fit of the legs sizing up were a bit loose which again I like but if you are wanting skin tight base layer stick to your size. My favorite thing about these is the Polartec & Polygiene technology . Polartec is innovative and eco-friendly. It is designed to keep you warm, dry, & cool all at the same time when you are being active! Polygiene is an anti-odor treatment that is so great to have when being active! Totally handles the cold here in Utah (being active) with temps ranging from 7-30 F.

Wanted to love these but the waste band was very tight. I have an athletic build, and can go small or medium in Patagonia depending: the mediums were too large in the leg and waist, smalls overall fit great but again, the band had heavy compression (hitting at my belly button). Overall quality seems standard to Patagonia, just not the fit for me.

Another pair of these thermal bottoms for me! LOVE to ski with these guys on. I like this length more so than the full-length because my calf area doesn't get too sweaty (though, I would prefer that than freezing)! If you are thinking about it, take it from me. GET THEM! You wont regret it!

I gave the bottoms one more start than the tops (bought both for my mom). Both were surprisingly warm and my mom loved the boot length (her first boot length pair). But the material is grabby when putting on the next layer. Not as much of an issue with the bottoms as the tops.

Size small is perfect for my petite frame supporting 115 lb.s. The tights are very soft and warm. I like the length which avoids needing to stuff them into my lace up boots. (So far haven’t been anywhere to test them.)

I wish I had discovered these sooner. Not only are the low-profile, but they are super, duper cozy and fit amazingly. The design itself is incredibly comfortable and movement-oriented, and like the reviews below me, the waistband might be my favorite part (wide and sans tubular sausage effect). The fabric wicks away moisture, dries quickly, and keeps me warm from start to finish. They're definitely my go-to baselayer during the winter!

I am the same size and could only get the small and they are a bit too large, the XS would have been perfect. A great design and wear them regularly when I get out to ski 4 days a week.

We have had some colder days this year and doubling the lightweight merino I usually wear wasn't cutting it. These are great for days in the teens. The fit is really great for skiers, too, assuming you have, say, the more stereotypical skier things. These fit and contour smoothly. No "sausage-link-effect from the waist band. They fit true to the size chart.
