I was in the market for functional and comfy hiking/backpacking/camping/roadtripping/everything else undergarments so I bought the Barely Bikini, Hipster, and Thong to try, and WOW. No seriously, that's what I said when I was trying them on: "Wow." Super comfy, super functional, and stylish (esp. the bikini and thong - hipster is a little lower on style but DEF high on comfort and function). I've worn on multi-mile hikes, around the house, working out, with jeans and wow, wow, wow. Some visible panty lines, but it's a fine trade by me.

These are my go to. They're breathable, thin, and comfortable. I have a problem with most full coverage underwear riding up on me, but these stay in place always.

I bought about seven of these for my trek in Nepal and they were PERFECT! The fit is comfortable, material is soft, and no wedgies! They also dry very quickly, so it was easy to do laundry on the trek or in a hotel room and have them ready to be packed again fast.

Comfortable, breathable, BARELY noticeable lines in yoga pants (been looking for this for so long!), but PATAGONIA, this tag has got to go. Had to use shears to cut the tag far enough to where it wouldn't rub me raw. Once I cut the huge tag, I couldn't make myself go to any other underwear in my drawer.

Comfortable,

These are great - soft and stretchy, quick to dry. I have been wearing Patagonia panties for a long time, and these are a change from the previous generation - thicker fabric, slightly closer fit, but still great.

She says they fit great and hold up well over time. They’re soft and don’t pinch, and look good under her workout clothes.

I want a pair for every day of the week. I love these undies ! They are super soft and I can't tell I'm even wearing underwear most of the day. They're also no-show on most pants/leggings which is an awesome bonus. They also come in a bunch of cute patterns and colors. They don't ride up or snag and are just all around an awesome pair of undies! I bought a few pairs after trying the first for a few days.

Am I Wearing Underwear?

Familiarity:

These have been my go-to underwear for quite some time. I own multiple pairs in every color (Dolomite Blue is my favorite). Barely Bikinis provide enough coverage for just about any outdoor activity (I've worn them trail running, climbing, biking, backcountry skiing, backpacking, you name it!). Not only are they comfortable and flattering (ok, they aren't the most attractive underwear, see Icebreaker's Siren Thong), but they dry extremely fast and are very durable. I'm hooked!

I'm super picky about my underwear, and fortunately found these to fit the bill! They're comfortable and they don't fall down, two of my main criteria in good underwear! The fit is flattering and the material seems durable.

lovin these so far

I was pleasantly surprised by these. The fabric is pretty thin, but it seems durable (so far) and the wicking makes them fabulous for adventuring. Just noticed these have lifetime warranty, nice!

Bought these for my recent hiking trip to Africa (to summit Mt Kilimanjaro!) and safari journey. These are now my most favorite undies ... period, the end. Regardless of hiking / travel, etc - they are super comfy and wear beautifully - and wash / dry even better. Have ordered more and these will be a basic in my undies "department". (I bought size Large because I'm "hippy" ... fit is very very comfortable - no riding up)

Just bought more

My wife Just bought more! No lines in her yoga pants and that's hard to find. Comfortable and very light weight.

Pricey but worth it. Great as a bikini cut or active brief. Perfect for camping as they dry quick with wicking material.

Terrible! Opposite of moisture wicking

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

DO NOT BUY. Didn't realize there had been a change in fabric & bought 4 pairs. No moisture wicking AT ALL. Wore on a hike and chafed in places I didn't know chafing was possible.

Tags on Back of Underwear

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

Patagonia started putting tags on the back of the underwear. The kind that leaves remnants that will stick you forever. The original version did not have tags. Stay away if you like your skin. They are being returned.

Super super soft and comfy! Great for wearing under breeches. True to size. I bought another couple pairs of these for riding and very happy with the purchase. The underwear I received did not have tags on them so no worries there.
