i have worn this shirt on a spring skins, day hikes, long distance trail runs, and to the office on casual fridays and it has not disappointed. it drys fairly quickly after getting drenched in the rain and i did not have any chafing when wearing for long trail runs. i bought a large because i wanted it big, but i would say it fits true to other patagonia shirts.

I always wear large in Patagonia short sleeve shirts, but had to trade the Bandito out for a medium. The fit is great in the medium, and it breathes and performs well. I love how I can wear this shirt trail running, fly fishing, and hiking then turn around and go to a party or out to eat and look great and not smell like the trail.

Swiss Army Shirt

I own 3 Banditos and I'm pretty much done buying shirts. This does it all! It is an athletic/slim cut and I appreciate that for my size. I only buy Patagonia athletic cut and it hasn't let me down. I've used this under my PFD on multi day raft trips, guided climbers on multi pitch, backpacking (seen in picture), bikepacking and simply around town. It has a great western look, a dress down look and is semi professional looking for that person in the outdoor industry or just wants to go from the crag to the bar and being able to look and feel good. Now that I have 3 different colors, I'm set for a long time with shirts. It's also super light, breathable, dries super fast and eats odor where you don't always get that with other synthetic shirts. Don't look any farther, this is your EVERYTHING shirt.

40" chest, 32" waist I bought this right before a 10-day trip to Italy, and I was super impressed with it. The fit is spot-on, it dries super fast, doesn't smell terrible after a couple wears, looks better than a t, and the vents on the back actually work to let the wind in. This is everything you need for a do-it-all shirt.

I got this shirt for my dad for his birthday. I thought it would be great shirt for him to wear to work and straight to the golf course after and he said that it's great for exactly that! It's super thin and technical but doesn't look it. He can dress it up or dress it down. It's super breathable and awesome for really hot summer days where you don't want to have armpit sweat marks. We have a history of melanoma in our family so the sun protection is always a huge plus for us!

This shirt is insanely light, breathable, and comfortable. I took this shirt on a big multipitch climb and was amazed at how well it fit and kept me cool, all while allowing full range of motion. I also love the snap buttons. Much easier than a regular button up.

...on the great divide mountain bike route, absolutely love this shirt. The shoulders allow full range of movement and the shirt is light and helps keep you cool. It's pretty pricey but I can't wait to pick up another for fishing and hiking.

I got one, put it on ,went upstairs and ordered another one. Awesome shirt. Fits folks better with a long torso. It is super comfortable and lightweight and the snap up buttons keep the front from getting snagged on anything.

I do everything in this shirt. The price might turn you off at first, though you will find a way to wear this shirt as much as possible. Once your friends find out that you're wearing it five days a week, you'll admit it because you don't care and it's that amazing. I take this shirt everywhere with me...and even do most of my trail runs in it (have taken it up to 47mi at once). The comfort of this shirt is second to none, and I love how there are small flaps in the back and perforations under the arms to keep me cool on the hottest days.
