    Very disappointing.

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size

Bought two of these jackets for my children 15 days ago and my son’s already has two rips in different places on his jacket. The quality is not there. I am hoping backcountry / Patagonia will have a solution to this issue and not blame each other and me be out $100

    Very disappointing.

    Warm & Toasty

Patagonia makes solid products for adults all the way to the little ones. They are warm without being super bulky and they are built to last. We gifted this to our niece who lives in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and we know she'll be able to play outside in those temps and stay warm. Great colors - nice to see something other than pink or purple for girls! Runs a bit big.

    Start em young

I bought two of these for my niece and nephew who are twins, and they've totally put them to good use. They're 2 and as everyone knows 2 year olds aren't easy on cloths, and they still look new. They're super light weight and warm so versatile for all kid uses.

From infant to grandparent you'll wear one of these through every stage of life. I got the the down sweater for my niece, and it's her third since she's growing like a beanstalk. It's high-loft to low-weight ratio allows her to wear it all day without complaining of any bulk. It's far more durable than others we've seen from Mountain Hardware, plus Patagonia will make repairs for free which is crucial for kids clothes, especially ones that will be passed down. For the kids definitely go with the hooded version since it's once less thing to pack and keep them extra toasty when the wind/snow is blowing. Zippered pockets are also nice for treats and hand warmers while on the go.
