Down Sweater

It's been said that parenthood is a wild ride, and despite the inconsistencies and unexpected curve balls, know that you can count on the Patagonia Infant Boys' Down Sweater to keep your little one warm. Much like the adult version in style, the Down Sweater features a durable polyester exterior that fends off wind, while the DWR treatment provides light defense from moisture (spit up, however, rarely constitutes as "light moisture, so don't forget the wipes). The 600-fill down insulation provides lofted warmth, and it's part of Patagonia's Traceable Down initiative, meaning that the insulation is gleaned from animals that are never live-plucked or force-fed. Additionally, the zippered hand pockets offer cozy respite for those eensy-weensy little paws, so Junior and you can go for walks through the park comfortably.

  • A cozy jacket for cool winter adventures
  • Mini-ripstop exterior fends off wind
  • DWR treatment provides light defense from moisture
  • 600-fill insulation maintains warmth
  • Zippered hand pockets offer cozy respite
  • Jacket can be layered beneath a waterproof shell
  • Item #PAT024L

I bought this for my 9 Month old nephew, and it fits him great. He is 22lb, and 30 inches. Just make sure to read the sizing chart, I was initially got the incorrect size. 12M = 6M to 12M 18M = 12M to 18M

I bought this jacket for my nephew last year for Christmas and he absolutely loved it. The size chart we have on our site is outdated, and thanks Rachel for posting the Patagonia one below! Jacket kept him super warm and is something he would keep on.

We've owned every size in these

With having 4 kids, we've had just about every size in these jackets from 3 month on up. They are a great jacket without the bulk and I feel like my kids stay warm in them. It may seem crazy to pay this much for an infant jacket, but worth every penny!

My little guy is 4 months old, 16.5 pounds and 25". I sized up to the 6-12 month so it will last him longer. He definitely has room to grow, but we roll the sleeves up and it works great now. LOVE Patagonia kids gear!!

Runs large

My little boy has worn this jacket all winter. This style will be a staple in his closet for many winters to come. I think it runs a tad bit big, which is great to make it last a full season. It keeps him warm and toasty.

Warm and Cute, what else do you need?

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

We ordered one of these for our 15 month old. He wears it when we take him outside in the cold. Whether in the baby jogger, the chariot or just playing in the snow our boy stays toasty warm. The sleeves are longer but the baffles allow them to shorten, I think is keeps the coat from riding up the sleeve and exposing skin.. We'll though out cut, nice zipper cover to keep the chin from feeling the zipper pull. Very nice garment. Highly recommended for outdoor family's. A cheaper coat might compromise their warmth and coverage. Though not waterproof it still remains warm when wet from falling snow or rolling in snow, all activities I'd recommend.

Mini-me

I bought this jacket as a baby shower gift. It's pretty much the cutest thing ever. Identical to the adult version, just mini-sized. Same great material, good color, and very durable. The sizing is right-on, my only recommendation is that buying a bigger size is always safer.
