I just got this and it feels like something I’ll be quite happy with as an around-the-house comfy sweater. The materials are very nice, and I really like the details & construction overall. I order basically all my T-shirts in size Large, so I thought Large was the obvious choice, here. However, this size Large feels a little baggier than expected. If I stand up, the sleeves can come down to the middle of my thumbs, and things are pretty loose, overall. But also, I did just check the label on a North Face running jacket I have, and it turns out it’s Medium. I also looked at my Patagonia parka, and it is also Medium. I probably should have just been a little more careful! If I had tried it on in a store, I suspect I probably would have gone for a Medium instead. But, that also might have been slightly small – I don’t know. Since I got this on sale and don’t really intend it to be office wear, I’m pretty sure I’ll hang onto this one and just embrace the loose fit. But, if I were to repeat the order, I would check my other stuff more carefully, and maybe purchase two sizes and send one back.

The sweater looks great but the sizing was a bit tight. So I would go a size larger than what you would usually wear if you don't like them tight fit.

Size was way off and I had to pay.

The sizing for this product was way off and I was the one who ultimately suffered having to PAY TO SHIP IT BACK TO THEM EVEN THOUGH THE PRODUCT SIZE WAS WAY OFF. I will never be using backcountry.com again. SMH. Thanks for stealing my money.

I loved this sweater when I got it. Looks nice, color is great, super comfy. But after less than two weeks it's starting to look incredibly worn. I wore it with a jacket over top ONE time and the elbows are crushed with little cotton balls. Looks two years old after two wears. Very disappointing since I was so excited when I got it.

Hey if you still have this item, the same thing happened to me. I bought an item called a sweater stone, and it removed all those little balls. I have washed it many times since and the balls haven't returned, as almost if it was a one time thing. Now I love this hoodie.

Got this sweater because of the brand being known for quality... its 48 degrees and I can feel the wind goes thru this sweater... it's not warm even when layered... very disappointing...

You'd have to be pretty low IQ to think that a sweater would have wind blocking properties...

You expect a sweater made of fleece-material to be wind-blocking?! Really? Please think again.. I can't speak highly enough of these sweaters - I own several for many years, multiple times worn & washed and they still look brand-new. Please understand this piece of clothe as a mid-layer which functions as an insulating layer but not as an outer-layer. For an outer-layer, use a hard-shell or rain-jacket.

This thing is really high quality, and really warm. Worth the price tag as are most of patagonias products. Fits true to size, im inbetween an xl and xxl and chose the xxl for the extra room in case I want to add a layer underneath and it fits exactly as expected.

I read below "quickly become my go to pullover for cool weather" i bought one and loved. two years later after too much use i bought the second black one and the next year bough the third one. the firs one became the one to use for biking and when cleaning bikes on cold days + heavy dirt work. then the second one after heavy use was down graded to heavy dirt work too. the third one is still to use in the office during the winter and the fourth one is to go out nice and clean. It became a must have one for me. right now, i toke advantage of the promotions and bough e other in different colors. I just love this pullover. they are warm, comfortable and easy to carry around. and then last longer too.

This sweater is thick and warm. It's not scratchy or itchy. I like how it fits and appears to be very well made. This will be an excellent addition to my winter wardrobe to stay warm while working or playing outside. The color of this sweater is a very nice color, it matches most of my other clothes.
