    Tough and courageous.

Thanks to the Parajumpers Men's Marcus Down Jacket and that stubborn mug of yours, long gone are the days when a polar vortex impeded your plans to run errands, get to work, or simply take a walk through the park. Inspired by the 210th Rescue Squadron of Anchorage, Alaska, the Marcus features a waterproof exterior that's as weatherproof as it is breathable—meaning you're well protected against wind, sleet, and snow. Additionally, the 730-fill down insulation provides lofted warmth in the face of bitter cold temperatures. However, should you begin to warm up (which, you know, might happen in such a polar vortex), the two-way front zipper allows you to regulate your body temperature without having to remove your entire line of defense. The bevvy of military-inspired pockets keep necessities close at hand, and the two side zippers allow you to customize your fit.

    Not slim fit

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 5'9"
    • Weight: 160lbs

I am 5'9" 160 (shoulder: 38, Sleeve: 33). I ordered the medium. The jacket fits in the shoulders and arms. However it is a very boxy fit throughout and very loose at the waist. Because of how loose it was at the bottom, it was not very warm overall. Overall, it is a quality jacket with great features, but sadly the fit is not for me (small would have been tight in shoulders and short in sleeves).

    PJ's Marcus Parka

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Height: 5'8"
    • Weight: 165lbs

Excellent warmth,,slim fitted, but still very very warm Parka,,did I mention its excellent to me in my opinion,,most people in my neck of the woods,,know nothing about Parajumpers,,to me its equal to that Goose that most know of.

Fabulous Quality, Most Modest of PJ's

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: L
    • Height: 6'2"
    • Weight: 180lbs

I shopped around and ended up buying this parka without having seen it in person. I've always liked the style of PJ's but wanted something more modest -- i.e., no fur trim, fewer crazy pockets, etc. Marcus really fit the bit as a clean looking but still stylish parka. Based on urban use down to -5F so far, it's crazy warm. The waist zippers are a nice touch as they allow you to sit comfortably without taking it off. Pockets are adequate but my one gripe is that the hand warmer pockets aren't nearly deep enough, so you end up having to contort your hands downward to keep them cozy. I'm 6'2" / 180 and the L size fit perfectly. Very good purchase, I expect it to last 20 years of casual urban use.

    Parajumper Marcus Down parka

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Height: 5'8"
    • Weight: 165lbs

I got my parka today,,slim sized,,but thats ok,,I've know about PJ's for about 4 years now,,great product,,pockets galore,,I'm saving my pennies for another PJ,,pricey yes,,worth it yes,,be mindful if you order a PJ check the sizing,,as they are I believe Italian made & sized a bit different than the typical US size chart,,if you like a parka or bomber with many pockets this is the one,,hidden pockets,,pockets you can see,,everywhere, great quality products. If one normally wears a medium,,one may go one size up if one plans on layering underneath,,ok

lovely jacket and totally worth it

I shop for my son's winter coat every two years or so to appease his growth spurts. I always look for waterproof and warmth since this would be the coat to turn to whenever the temperature drops below freezing point. I got women's Parajumpers Longbear and loved the quality compare to Canada Goose. I feel like CG quality has gone down last few years. We own a couple of earlier CG coats and they were much better back then. So in search of replacement of CG coats, we found Parajumpers. They are so warm and well made that this is our third Parajumpers coat and I have a feeling, we will probably buy more as long as the quality keeps up. This coat fits my son perfectly. He is rather lanky side as he has really long arms but the sleeves does not seem short. There is some room for him so hopefully it does fit him next year but if not, it will be used by my dad.
