Kodiak Jacket

Inspired by adventurers and designed for urban explorers, the Parajumpers Kodiak Men's Jacket blends arctic-ready performance with enough style for the streets of Aspen, St. Moritz, or New York. It's cut to mid-thigh, with DWR-treated nylon fabric to repel water and dirt and a sleek polyester lining to keep you comfortable as you stroll the snowy avenues. The Kodiak's incredibly warm, too with a removable layer of 90/10 down insulation to trap heat, a drawstring waist to seal out drafts, and a detachable fur ruff and lined collar to keep the Alpine air at bay. It's the small details that make the difference, though; Parajumpers included side zip vents to keep you from overheating when the sun's shining, a multitude of internal and external pockets to make sure you stay organized, and Parajumper's distinctive PJS snap-hook at the neck for an extra hit of warmth and style.

Woah... This jacket is NICE! Talk about a warm luxurious jacket. There area few layers to this jacket. The first is the outer shell which is made of bomber nylon that is DWR coated. It was definitely windproof, although I didn't see any moisture with it thus far. The inner down insulation is nice and is removable for those warmer days. I could see myself using this jacket easily in sub-zero temperatures. I've only worn this jacket a few times in the mid-20s but have only worn a light tee underneath. The fur on the hood is great for wind. I could hardly feel it! Lastly, with regards to fashion- I can now fit in with my Park City buddies and their fancy jackets ;).

This thing is super bombproof and warm in all kinds of weather! I wandered around town in 10 degree weather, with just this on over a long sleeve shirt and I was perfectly content! The hood is great for when the wind starts blowing or snow starts to fall, and it's long enough to keep your whole torso comfy. It feels great as well, has a good heft to it, and is very durable while not restricting your movement so you can really adventure with it, while still looking good as you just hang out around town!

This jacket is pretty dang winterproof. I was pleasatnly dry and more than warm after spending a few hours in the backyard at the cabin during a beast of a storm. The amount of pockets on this jacket will leaving you wanting more things to shove in it, and the fur lined hood is great for catching the wind and pupil aimed snowflakes. If you are expecting extreme weather and want to prepare for battle, this is your jacket. It's got some serious weight to it, in a good way that confirms its quality.
