    purchase for Lake Powell heat

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This is a great quality product. I have yet to have it in the wind yet and fill it will hold up to the august storms that roll threw powell. If you have been there you know what i am talking about strong winds. will update at the end of the summer.

    Great shade for the beach

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

After years of buying a large umbrella for the beach, dealing with the wind, and watching each purchase last two years, I decided to spring for the Paha Que 10x10.

I watched videos of how to set up and followed their advice. I'm still looking for a way to set it up by myself and I have not found it yet. It is definitely a job for two, but all the other person needed to do was stand under the center of the canopy and hold it up while I secured the corners.

Loosening the straps prior to inserting the corner poles makes the job easier. Also, plan to adjust some of the corners twice. As I set additional corners, I found it helpful to to go back and reset the angles and guy ropes as additional tension altered the first poles I had set. No big deal, just a heads up.

Once set, it was very secure and I had no fear that the beach wind would force any of the corners loose.

I definitely plan to get one of the side walls to move around as the sun shifts. Early and late, one of these would greatly extend usable shade.

And my greatest surprise - everything went back in the carry bag, just as it came out. I find that a rare quality. It is a small package to tote to the beach.
