Thicker than I expected
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
This didn't have the texture I expected, it's thicker rather than a thin cloth I was expecting. No big deal though! Super absorbent and worked well when we wanted to dry off our pup on our camping trip. Super lightweight and it drys fast.

Happy with this upgrade!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Bought for my car campaign set up and it has two fantastic features: 1) VERY absorbent 2) Dries super fast (even overnight when you don't really thinks that's possible). Another reviewer mentioned that the texture of this compared to microfiber feels much better - can't agree more. Happy with this upgrade and that normal towels are a thing of the past.

Lightweight Must Have for Hiking!
I always carry my packtowel hiking with me! It's something to sit on, dry off with, or a little pillow. It's so lightweight I never notice it in my pack, and am always grateful for it!

Awesome

Absorbs a lot of water and rings out essentially dry. A must have for anyone who ventures away from normal towels.

Takes up no space
Absorbs a ton of water. I use it to dry off my cooking equipment. Doesn't add any weight and works nice. I would recommend to any back-packer. There are no cons.

Absorbs a lot!
This is a great towel. It absorbs a lot of water! My wife prefers this over cotton towels to dry her hair

Good
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I purchased the medium and it ended up being smaller than I expected; really paid attention to the dimensions... The felted texture is more preferable than the microfiber options.

Do you yoga?
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I purchased the XL as an alternative to the more pricey "yoga" towels that prevent slipping in pools of sweat during hot yoga. Worked like a charm. Very absorbent and wrings out well so you don't have to tote around a sweat/water logged towel. I wouldn't suggest bringing an XL backpacking because it is a bit big, but I'll be getting a lil guy for my pack.

Didn't use it much
I have a thinner, smaller towel that I wound up using a lot more on the four-day trek that I bought this for. Its a little bulky and thick, but super absorbent which makes it good for toweling off after swimming (versus a sweat towel)

okay

very absorbent. packs a bit thick still for my liking. have to wash first before using to make it softer to use and easier to pack. similar to a shamwow.

Worked great for me!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Just used this towel on a sailing trip. To decrease space while traveling and while in close quarters in a wet environment this towel worked great. I think I'll not only use it again in the future for camping, but just for traveling in general. Save some space and have a light weight towel that works great! I have a lot of hair so I went for the large towel and was happy I did. Dried quick.

Giant Shamwow
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I have this in large and am hoping to order an XL. I'm 5'4" and 130lbs, and the large was just big enough for me to use as a shower towel. It absorbs plenty of water and dries quite quickly! I'm ordering the XL just to have a bit more length.

Pretty good camp towel
This is a pretty good towel. It is pretty light weight and does not take up a lot of space. However, it is not the most absorbant towel ever. But its a great thing to take camping. It can serve a ton of uses and only weighs a few ounces. I would buy it again.

Decent towel.
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Its an expensive piece of cloth that soaks up a fair amount of water. I've only used it for drying off my body and it seems to work fine, although I have to ring it out a few times. Takes about an hour or two to dry.

I've just got too much hair
- Familiarity:

Great towel, dried quickly. I should have gotten a larger size because my hair really just acts like a sponge and there just wasn't a chance of this towel getting it all.

Great for dishes, not for your body
Well, you could use it to dry off your body but if your a hairy beast like me you are going to have to ring it out many times before you are dry. It works great for drying your hands and for cleaning your dishes, but ho with a high pile towel for the body.

Just what you need
I hate bringing extra stuff yet I hate using a shirt to dry off also. This is perfect, it drys you off and doesn't take up as much space as a traditional towel. Definitely worth checking out!

light and worth it
Have You ever spent a 24 day trek out in the back country and wished you had a towel? Well I have and it sucks using your shirt to dry off. So I strongly suggest people will get one of these and use it for peets sake. It is wonderful to have something this light to bring with you.
