    Don't waste your money.

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These broke at the same place before I used them even one time. Subsequently the charging port broke. NOT RUGGED.

    Broke fast

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Like the reviewer just before me. I was loving these headphones at 1st. Sounded fine, bluetooth worked great, and battery lasted a long time. Last night I was using these as normal, and went to make a slight adjustment when they snapped right at the joint. I have really liked all my other OT products in the past and am hopping this is just a one time flaw on this model.

Poor Construction. Broke in normal use

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought these thinking they were a great deal. They had decent reviews when I purchased them. But please be aware that you get what you pay for....actually you get less than what you pay for. I'll start with the positives first:
    - They look nice
    - They function great as bluetooth headphones (all features work as designed and intended)
    ....That's it.

    Negatives:
    - They market the headphones as hardy and able to withstand rough use and handling. I think the box even says you can roll over them accidentally while sleeping and they won't be damaged. THIS IS A BOLD-FACED LIE....FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. I had these headphones less than two weeks before they broke. I was merely putting them on my head (not an abnormally wide head I must say) and I heard a loud snap, and felt like someone had just slapped my ear. But I look and see the headphones had snapped right at the joint underneath the metal extension strip. What a pitiful excuse for headphones. I have had free headphones that were given to me on airplanes that have lasted longer.
    - They are really uncomfortable headphones. I was actually willing to look past this because of the price point, but then they broke.

Had they not marketed so intentionally that these headphones are tough...I may not have been so frustrated and disappointed. But this product was quite the letdown.

Don't fall for the price....just don't. Pay the money for good quality headphones. Don't learn the lesson the hard way...like I did.

If you love something, let it break :(

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Uber great sound, fit and weight! Also I like this style better than noise cancelling over ear headphones (they make me claustrophobic not hearing my surroundings)....

However like many other reviews here, it's true, a little tiny piece of the band broke when putting them on like the 4th time.

So I purchased another pair! Asking for it I know, but I love how happy these made me when I opened the box synced em up and danced around my house.

If pair number 2 breaks I have duct tape...worth it!!!

    Fragile

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I took a chance on these after reading the generally bad reviews and lost. Gave them to my teenage daughter as Christmas gift. They broke the next day when she was simply putting them on. She loved them...until she didn’t. Clearly a flawed design.

    Squash your head

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Well, like everyone else, I broke mine... but it was because I tried to bend them wider. I have a pretty normal-sized head, but after about an hour, I wanted to throw these things against a wall - too much pressure. If you either have a very narrow head, or only plan on wearing them for a little while at a time, they're great.

    Decent Headphones But They'll Break

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

From an actual headphone and music quality perspective, these bad boys aren't half bad. They will, however, break on you. I've gone thru two different pairs and both have snapped. The plastic components on the head-band portion simply gave out after being flexed as you put them on and take them off over time. Probably won't buy anymore ODT products cuz it's just not worth buying headphones that will break on you a couple of weeks down the line.

    Broken headphones make bad gifts

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I purchased these as a gift for my brother and they broke after only a week or two. Makes for a lousy feeling after Xmas.

    Wonderful headphones, Bad shipping

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These headphones are the best I have had so far!! Absolutely love them! However, the way that they were shipped to me was really bad! They were just put in a huge box 📦 with no bubble wrapping or newspaper and I can only imagined that they jiggled and jangled as well as banged all the way to NYC!! That's bad business. So that means I will never purchased another item that might be put in a box other than clothes or shoes!

    Killer Headphones

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These are too awesome. The Bluetooth connection is solid and I can leave my phone in my pocket or sitting on a shelf across the room. The headphones themselves have fantastic sound, are super comfortable and compact.

Definitely pick these up if you're sick of knotted-up headphone cords!

    Nice until they broke

I bought a pair of the old privates headphones which preceded these. For the price they sounded great, comfortable and cool looking. I only used them about 6 times in a 16 month period and now they will not charge and the USB port came loose in the headphone. I didn't drop them or anything like, I just went to charge them one day and they would not charge. I emailed customer service, they tried to help but since I was more than year out from my purchase, there's nothing they can do. Kind of disappointed because I liked them a lot and may have bought a new pair but they don't have this style anymore. All in all, they're nice but like anything else, you get what you pay for. Treat them gingerly because apparently they're more fragile than I thought.

      Amazing quality for the price

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These headphones are great. They hold a great charge. You can work out and sweat but these things will stay put. They have a great range so you can leave your phone in your bag 30 feet away or more. Sound is great for the price. Not audiophile headphones. But, they pump out enough sound to get rid of all the chatter/bad musIc at the gym. They have a pretty low profile for over ear headphones and barely slip. If you were to screw up and break or lose these guys you are only out $60. The only other decent, over ear sports headphones I've found would run me around $200. Can't say enough good stuff about Outdoor Tech.

      Just the right ones

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I usually run and do bike roller training alone, so having some music helps to get trough it . Normal headphones are a drag since cables are easily tangled. I needed (wanted) some wireless ones, went for this ones and I couldn't ask for more.

They are compact, pack ok to travel and sound great (I'm not and audiophile) also they block exterior sound in a good way, not as much as too be a safety concern.

Finally, it says it can handle sweat without issue. I haven't seen issues yet, will update if something happens.

      Great all-around headphones for exercising

Great bluetooth headphones for the price

You definitely get what you pay for with these headphones. I don't listen to music with deep bass so I don't need my speakers/headphones to have a huge driver and the driver in these is definitely on the smaller end. I bought these to listen to some music and some audio books without dealing with a cord. I'm honestly impressed. If you can justify the cost of a nicer model, go for it. But for me and my limited needs, they work great. So far I've noticed they charge relatively quickly and the battery life is at least respectable. There's a bit of a learning curve but they're pretty easy to figure out.
