Buckshot 2.0 Bluetooth Speaker

Just when you thought the most portable and versatile speaker around couldn't get any better, Outdoor Technology went and made the Buckshot 2.0 Bluetooth Speaker. Like its predecessor, it's still small enough to fit in your pocket and rugged enough to withstand outdoor adventures.

However, Outdoor Technology took things a step further by making the button interface bigger and more accessible, so you can switch tracks, answer calls, change volume, chat with your phone, or pair devices with ease. They also added four mounting options and included a handlebar bracket so you can jam tunes on the go. And just for good measure, they went ahead and improved the sound quality to make it louder, cleaner, and deeper than ever before. You know, just some minor tweaks.

  • Rugged and ultra-portable speaker

This thing isn't going to blow your hair back, but it's super small and convenient for hanging on the porch, at the campsite, or by the lake.

Noise maker

Great to have on rides when you are out on your own, or rolling deep around town, decent sound for one little speaker. Rubber strap is pretty easy to break, buy a voile strap

Im surprised with this speaker! It gets loud for the size of it, its extremely durable and a must have for biking. I love using this on long rides, Its never fallen/ shaken off my bike hitting jumps or mobbing over rocks at high speeds. Very happy with this

Perfect for biking.

You gotta hear people behind you, when you are on the trail or road. So, getting a speaker like this is a must, if you are addicted to music, like I am. The directional speaker sounds good, but still allows you to hear the other bikes, cars, and even rattlesnakes. The black buckshot is camouflaged on my grey bike, but it's there, on the handlebar. It requires no screws; easy to take on and off, and very secure. Genius!

I've got the first model and sounds like the 2.0 is even better. Once the first kicks the bucket I'll upgrade but in the meantime the party rolls where I do.

amazing little speaker

Love the Buckshot! I've had one for a number of years now, but got sick of my girlfriend always 'borrowing' it. I got her this newest model and it is awesome! After having the previous model for a while and being super happy with its sound, battery life, and bluetooth range, I was expecting more or less the same. This exceeds those expectations. Battery lasts longer, sound is crisper and gets louder, and bluetooth range is greater. For the price, this is a really great little speaker. Super durable and all but waterproof. Couldn't recommend it more.

Compact speaker that packs a punch

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Great little speaker! Surprisingly good sound for its small size. Mounts easily to the handle bars of a bike for a little background music for long climbs. Plop it on the camp table for tunes in camp.

Gotta have it for your whip

Familiarity:

Outdoor Tech absolutely kills it in the bluetooth audio game. This is no exception. Improved upon from the original version, with a more rugged and versatile design as well as better sound. For a little speaker this really packs a punch. The Buckshot will handle just about anything, snow, wind, rain, dust... whatever. You can really use it anywhere but it's original intent is where it really excels. Strap this thing on your handlebars and you're ready to roll with your tunes. Plenty loud enough for the whole crew to listen.

Blasting

Familiarity:

This thing packs quite the punch for its size. Syncing up with smartphones is quick and painless unlike some other compact portable speaker systems out there. So far the durability hasn't been an issue cause its just snow I mostly use it for. i love being able to attach the speaker to a ski pole while backcountry splitboarding! The strap that came with it to attach to handle bars works good but I back it up with a ski strap. This is going to come on many adventures with me! My only concern is with the USB port, it can be hard to close if acccidentally opened in the cold. tiny snow crystals go lodged into the cap and I couldn't get it closed. But a quick wrap of the ski strap kept everything out of it.

For what its worth

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

The main reason i bought this speaker is for outdoor activities. That being said, I'm not expecting a bose mini soundlink out of it, but a durable speaker that can play tunes louder than my phone. This speaker exceeded my expectations and has seen a lot of jarring and being tossed around while hiking, sitting on my handlebars while biking, and camping.

Party town central

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

This thing comes with on every adventure I go on. Doesn't matter if it's a backpacking trip or car camping. This thing gets tossed into the bag because whats better than hanging around a campfire? Hanging around a campfire with killer tunes! I even use this at my house when I'm just relaxing in my backyard. Can also be strapped to a ski/hiking pole or bike handle bars easily when you're in the mood to jam and move. Hands down this little guy is one of my top pieces of gear.

Jammin'

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

While I believe there are many times in the outdoors it is nice to enjoy the peace and quite, it is also fun to add some jams to the mix. This speaker bumps and is a nice small size that it doesn't get in the way. Definitely gets the job done on river floats or party bike rides increasing the fun factor to 11.

Backyard barbecues

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Bought this to have music in our backyard or in our shed while we play some ping pong! This speaker is really small and loud. I like how small it is. The bluetooth connection works VERY well. While camping we tested the distance out and I would definitely say it worked 32 ft away from the speaker. It does get a little spotty when you are moving around but just leave your phone on the ground and you will have clear tunes! Battery stays charged well. Have not got it wet yet but it seems waterproof. This would be a great gift.

awesome

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

The buckshot is a must have. Don't let the small size fool you. The sound quality is great. It will not travel far however which makes it perfect for hiking, skinning up a mountain or biking around without disturbing the quiet of nature. Charges fast, lasts long, works great at high elevation, high and low temperatures. Indestructible.
