    Find your happy place.

When you're teeing up a sketchy line, traveling in dangerous terrain, or trying to breathe while mobbing through neck-deep powder, you need to focus on what you're doing, not worry if your pants are doing their job. Outdoor Research's White Room Men's Ski Pants will let you stay dry, comfortable, and totally dialed in, with a waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex three-layer membrane that'll stand up to the gnarliest conditions without slowing you down. All the seams on the White Room have been taped for extra waterproofing, and the movement-mirroring stretch of the nylon and spandex fabric, along with articulated knees, won't restrict your movement when you're on the bootpack, skinner, or jump-turning down a tight couloir.

All the hard work that it takes to get to the top of your line is a good bet to get you nice and warm, so Outdoor Research built in two thigh vents, one each on the inside and outside of the leg, to help you cool off and get ready for the descent. The tricot-lined waist is also easily adjustable, and zippered hand, thigh, and back pockets keep your gear safe, dry, and organized. There's even a special pocket for your avy beacon, if you're not into the whole chest-harness thing. As a finishing touch, Outdoor Research tossed in a Recco reflector, which gives you a little bit of backup in case of an in-bounds avalanche emergency.

    These pants are amazing!

Features galore, they did not skimp on the details. Quality zippers everywhere, 3 layer gore keeps me dry but it's super light, extra durable hem at the bottom, stretchy gater to make it easy to hike with.

These pants are all about function and they deliver in spades. The price reflects the quality of the materials and with the way OR builds their products and backs it up with their great warranty I have no fear these pants will last a long time.

Sizing recommendation: I am a 29-30 waist and the size small fit is tight reguardless if I wear them high or low on my waist. I just need to avoid cake and I can fit, but they are defiantly built for a more athletic body type.

So this pant is awesome, great for most days from very cold -5 to the high 30's. I use a Icebreaker 200 wight base layer with mine. But I first got a Medium as that is what I wear with almost every snowboard brand but seeing how snowboard brands really don't make gear for backcountry rippers. I got this guy! The Medium was tight as I have a 32"-33" waist and I switched out for a Large and I'd say the Large runs around 32" to 35" as you can adjust with the Velcro straps or a belt. The vents on this are awesome for skinning and this piece breathes very well too. Definitely recommend for backcountry skiing or splitboarding. Also the boot boot gaiter has mesh if you want more breath-ability on uphill travel and has a hole for your power strap (ski boot). The beacon pocket is a cool idea but I still wear my beacon close to my body, as I was taught from my training. It's more of a cell phone pocket now and does well. If you have questions, let me know and I'd love to help.
