I've put over 1500 miles on this shirt while backpacking and another 200-300 miles on it trail running. Its held up fantastic no holes, no fraying seems, and no awful stench that is unable to be removed. The only damage to the shirt is a little sun bleaching on the back and shoulders which is expected after 3 months of daily backpacking, and being above 10,000 feet for nearly an entire month. This shirt is great at keeping the wind at bay and the sun off you. its SPF value of 50 defiantly works. it breaths very well for how thick the fabric is and wicks moisture just as well. Its a good looking shirt as well if it didn't have the sun damage which makes it look a little goofy I'd easily wear this to any professional event given you choose the right color. Over all this shirt is the G.O.A.T. and will continue to use this shirt for many more miles.

    Happy Trails!

    Great shirt

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: medium

Will be taking this on the PCT, As of now, it looks great the sleeves are a little short, That being said I don't think I've found a shirt with sleeves that fit my monkey arms. Other than that the quality seems on point with most of Outdoor Researches gear. Will update after 2650 miles.

hmm.. this is the second Outdoor Research product in a row with sleeves too short (the other being the Blackridge Hoody). for a point of contrast, the Marmot Windshear Shirt has arms that are appropriately sized for an XL.

Keep in mind here that i have 36" sleeves. Given that the cut of the body (especially for the Blackridge hoody, and pretty much the same for this Outdoor Research product) seems aimed at the athletic... I am a bit puzzled, I guess, as to who OR is targeting here, i.e. tall people in need of an XL, but with short arms?

See the attached photo. It's not horribly missized, but the contrast with the Marmot piece was pretty stark, so i went with it. The undergarment here is a Basin&Range piece from a few years back, in XL.
