Comfortable, fitting pants but...

They're very comfortable and fit extremely well. However, sweat shows through very easily for me, even in a climate controlled gym environment. Ended up having to use chalk to cover (Definitely on the embarrassing side of things). They might be fine in very dry conditions, or if you don't sweat much, but after switching over to the Patagonia quandary pant / shorts, I haven't had any issues even in high humidity.

My favorite climbing pants

Fantastic pants for climbing. The 32x32 or 32x30 work for me. I found I roll the cuffs up with the both pairs, so the 32x32 just looks more normal when not at the crag. These fit snuggly, but they do not get in the way of high steps or any movement while climbing. They stretch just the right amount. I am always warmer than the other people in my party, and on 90+ degree days in humidity, they do get a little warm certainly, but they are not unbearable at all. I love the internal drawstring and not needing to wear a belt or worry about them slowly falling down over the course of a long multipitch day. The side pocket is great for some snacks and a phone. The massive phones of today may be a tight stretch, but an iPhone 6s fits with no problem at all. I have not been gentle with these and have bushwacked far off trail, done the butt slide down slabs in Joshua Tree, and done almost all of my non-winter climbing in them. After all of it, there is not a single tear or scratch.
