Lots of different weather options, lots of different glove options.

- Q & A
The dexterity a patroller needs
- Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
- Fit: True to size
My roommate patrols at PCMR and she'd been complaining her gloves weren't dexterous enough to perform some of the tasks she needed to (operating machinery, tying knots, etc).
I got these for her so that she had some liners to wear that weren't super thin or delicate.
She uses them daily and only has had one complaint so far; some of the silicone dots on the fingers and palm are starting to come off. Other then that she loves them! They're warm, comfortable, fit well, and don't bunch up under her gloves.
She hasn't used the weather-resistant shell yet, but she said she'll be using them once the weather gets warmer.
might be just what you're looking for
These are basically fleece lined softshell gloves with a slim fit. They have a small pocket on the back which stores a thin waterproof shell glove that feels like a paclite GTX fabric. The storage option is cool, although you've got to fold the shell up nice and flat or you might feel it too much through the fleece glove. I could wear the fleece glove alone, but can't really imagine wearing the shell alone since it's sized too big for my hand without the shell.
