Go straight from your couch to the mountains with the Outdoor Research Vashon Fleece Full-Zip Jacket. This cozy and comfortable polyester-blend fleece jacket is plenty soft enough to wear around the house and it also features wool to wick moisture and help prevent smells after you take a long autumn hike in it. To further function in the wilderness the Vashon has two zippered hand pockets and a zippered chest pocket for your valuables, as well as a three-panel hood that keeps out the elements while you push to the summit. As fall turns into winter, pull your favorite shell over the outside of this fleece and it will also thrive as a temperature-raising technical midlayer.

I need another!
This is the best under shell layer I have ever tried. Super comfy, super warm, and nice enough to wear by itself out on the town.

Best fleece I've ever owned
I've used a lot of fleeces in my time outdoors, and this is by far my favorite. It's the both the warmest and most cozy fleece of them all. Comfort is so nice it's good around the house, except it's almost too warm for that. I find it almost as warm as most down jackets, really an incredible piece.

Comfy Goodness!
This hoodie/sweater is absolutely fantastic as an outer layer in mild temps, as well as for throwing on as an added layer of comfy goodness indoors with a cup of post-adventure mocha. I've only been wearing the jacket for a few weeks, so I can't speak to durability, but the way I intend to use it, I'm not expecting to have a blow-out anytime soon anyway. Great stuff!

Super comfy, warm, been wearing it every day!
I love this sweater, in fact may get another to make sense for wearing several days a week. Only con is the zipper when fully zipped doesn't have a fabric cover, so it scratches or pokes at my neck. If that is added, I'll give it 5 stars. I get cold so the warmth has been great as a stand along sweater and under a puffy and thicker exterior layers. Love the hood, a plus for those winter NW days.

The jacket to use in all conditions
I used it alone, under my Foray Jacket, with my Transcendent Down Vest over it. This is the garment I use the most because it is very versatile, regardless of the weather conditions.
