Packable Puffy

This puffy is easily packable and the down has definitely kept me warm. I walk/run the dog in it on mornings where it?s in the teens and it?s kept me plenty warm, even hot when we run. The hood is awesome as well and helps when it?s windy.

Skeptical of shell material

I don't own this jacket but I own an older version of it. Mine got rips in the shell fabric after very minimal use. If you plan on using this for anything beyond an around-town kind of jacket, I would consider something else, especially because the shell fabric on this newer version seems to be even more delicate than the fabric on mine. I love the fit and color of this jacket. It's great as a light jacket in the spring or the fall. Unfortunately, if it's below 30 degrees and if it's at all windy - this jacket is not that warm. I ended up having to double up down jackets to stay warm this winter. I thought 650-fill down would be enough to do the job, but I suppose it isn't!
