I love the fit of this jacket. It is lightweight and block wind very well. I ran with it several times and always feel comfortable on the track or on my way back home. I love how it has the strap to wear on the hip. Sometime I bring it with me to concert where I don't wear a lot of clothes and I know it is windy outside. I know I will always have it on my waist and it also look great. The neon yellow definitely catches lots of attention. It even glows under black light if I am not mistaken.

My wife and I recently visited meteor crater in Arizona. I was so glad I had my OR Tantrum Hooded jacket with me. It was windy that day, and cool. The jacket kept me comfortable for the out and back hike to the rim of the crater. I'm definitely taking this in my pack to keep the wind at bay!

Was looking for a winter/spring running layer to protect from wind and keep warm, so far been happy with this item. It blocks the wind, keeps me warm with a base layer without soaking me from the inside. Fits to six, maybe a little snug, The jacket length and sleeve length are just right Bought yellow for higher visibility early morning and at night, get many compliments on the color.

If you run....then there is no reason not to own this jacket. This is my first ever Outdoor Research product and I am in love.

This jacket is so light, wind resistant, water resistant, and breathable that it makes running in cooler weather a pleasure! The jacket has some very well thought out features as well. Each sleeve opening has thumb loops that you can use to keep the sleeves in place and to keep the water and the cold out, but can easily be tucked inside when you don't need them.

The stash pocket on the chest has ample storage for a few gels, credit card, etc. I rarely ever use front chest pockets, but it gives you plenty of room.

My favorite feature is the internal stuff sack. Most of these types of jackets fold into the front chest pocket. When I am running and I do not have a pack I always have an issue of where to put the jacket if it is warmer than I thought, or if the weather has warmed up enough from the morning. This jackets has a pocket on the back that can hold more gels if need by, or if it is to warm can be stuffed into it and then worn around your waist with a best that is provided.....THAT IS AWESOME! That way I can store it while running and not have to worry about it, or really have to second guess if I am going to need it.

This is a great jacket and well worth it if you like to run as the weather cools!

    Unanswered Question

How would this compare to the Ferrosi and Whirlwind for breathability? Any underarm venting?
