These gloves are awesome for warmer winter activities like hiking, XC skiing, or uphill ski touring. (They would not be warm enough for winter resort skiing, though they're great for spring. They are also too thick to be liner gloves.) They're surprisingly warm and waterproof for how thin they are, and the palms are 100% durable leather-type material. Touchscreen feature works great. Fit is also great and provides excellent dexterity. I'm really blown away at how capable these gloves are. Nice work OR!

DON'T wear for winter sports
I ordered these as I was in need of a new pair of gloves for winter sports, like going up to the mountains, skiing, hiking, being outside in the cold for long periods of time. This purchase was a BIG mistake. I used these last weekend when I went skiing, and let me tell you, I had to keep stopping and taking breaks in the lodge to warm up my hands. It was HORRIBLE. After one run I was pulling my fingers out and making a fist in the center of them trying to get them to warm up while on the chairlift. I even asked one of their customer service reps on the online chat because I wanted to make sure before I purchased them and they said these gloves would do the job! I made sure to also read the reviews, which seemed highly recommendable. Well, unfortunately they didn't do it for me. Super bummed out about this purchase. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of one is because of the look. They look great! But function terribly.

Pretty nice gloves. Warm and super light, along with the durability that comes with the OR brand. Love the wind-proof.

Perfect glove for cold and wet weather. Very comfortable, warm and water resistant. The zipper is really helpful for taking the glove on and off when using an inner layer for winter activities like skiing. Even with the inner layer there is great dexterity.

Very Warm lightweight glove
Great glove for sunny days at the resort, they also work great for ski tours or anything that will get your heart rate up. The mobility is awesome and I'm able to snap some photos with my phone without taking my glove off.

These are (hands down) my favorite glove
These gloves are just amazing. They are durable, warm, comfortable, water resistant and wind-proof. I use them for just about any kind of active outdoor activity: downhill skiing, backcountry skiing, mountaineering, bike-commuting, mountain biking. The only other gloves I have are: 1) a "shell" mitten, which I wear over these gloves for cold conditions while mountaineering, and 2) an insulated glove I sometimes use for cold downhill skiing, when I need less dexterity. Glove #2 I bought on sale on a whim and don't really need. The wind-proof is especially important for bike-commuting to work in the freezing rain in November in Seattle. Plus, OR has a lifetime guarantee. My first pair of these gloves starting coming apart at the seams a bit after multiple years of hard use. I took them in to OR to get them repaired, and they just gave me a brand-new replacement pair.

If you have hands you need this glove
I have used this glove for the past 3 years. I have been so impressed I just ordered a pair for my wife. The newer versions work with smart phones/touch screen. The glove is like the best soft shell you have ever tried on but for your hands. The block the wind, work well in damp conditions, and keep you fingers warm...all with outstanding dexterity. I have used them from everything from Skydiving in the winter to shoveling my driveway. They are the one glove I cannot live without. Durability far exceeds what you would expect. OR crushing it again!

The New Standard
These are now the standard that I compare other similar-weight gloves to. Very dexterous, great fit. I primarily wear them for ice climbing and ski touring. I appreciate the lined palm and simple closure.

Warmer than regular glove liners but not a thick glove, these work great for handling carabiners and rope work. My hands run really cold so I don't wear them on their own in very cold weather, but they work well as an inner layer that I can quickly switch over to when I need extra dexterity. Keep in mind they're unlined--they stop wind fabulously & offer a little warmth, but not an insulated glove. I found them to run true to size with their size chart. I measured as a women's small & they fit great. Remember to measure *both* of your hands, as one is usually slightly larger than the other & it may make a difference in which size you need! I adore OR & these gloves, but I'm only giving them 4 stars due to the pricing seeming a bit high for the product.

Go to touring glove
I love these gloves. They are light enough to wear while your skin uphill and the windstopper is powerful enough to keep your hands toasty on cold days. The leather palms a little stiff when you first get them but wear them a few times and they break in to being perfect. I really love these gloves.

Outdoor Research storms tracker gloves. Thinner then I was expecting. Nice quality though. Seems like then will be good for summer climbs.

One of my favorites
I get cold hands so having a system for my hands is key. I am in love with these gloves. They are thin and lightweight yet are fleece lined for extra warmth. I started using them as my go to glove for all around and hiking up while touring. They have long coverage, all the way to my wrists. Even when they have gotten sweaty they are still super warm and easy to deal with. I went with a medium and my hand size is 7" length 8" circumference

Thank you Christine! I love there, but I do want people to know that these are not for sub zero use, but perfect in 20 degrees.. and possibly colder if you are active. These Stormtrackers are my go to for technical - great dexterity and wind stopper protection. Enjoy! Leta OR Rep
