Do it all.
You begin when daylight is a faint glow on the horizon. When your gear is all ready, you pull on the Outdoor Research Women's StormTracker Sensor Glove and set off to skin across valleys and tree-lined slopes. Crafted from Gore WindStopper softshell fabric, this glove deflects biting gusts and resists water while still remaining breathable for comfortable, reliable protection from the elements. The water-resistant goat leather palm offers superior grip, and the thumb and index finger have been updated for touchscreen compatibility, so you'll be able to stop and snap that picture without having to take off your glove. A tricot lining adds extra warmth to keep you moving comfortably through the backcountry.

- Q & A
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: Small
Warmer than regular glove liners but not a thick glove, these work great for handling carabiners and rope work. My hands run really cold so I don't wear them on their own in very cold weather, but they work well as an inner layer that I can quickly switch over to when I need extra dexterity.
Keep in mind they're unlined--they stop wind fabulously & offer a little warmth, but not an insulated glove.
I found them to run true to size with their size chart. I measured as a women's small & they fit great. Remember to measure *both* of your hands, as one is usually slightly larger than the other & it may make a difference in which size you need!
I adore OR & these gloves, but I'm only giving them 4 stars due to the pricing seeming a bit high for the product.

I love these gloves. They are light enough to wear while your skin uphill and the windstopper is powerful enough to keep your hands toasty on cold days. The leather palms a little stiff when you first get them but wear them a few times and they break in to being perfect. I really love these gloves.
Good for summer climbs
- Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
Outdoor Research storms tracker gloves. Thinner then I was expecting. Nice quality though. Seems like then will be good for summer climbs.
One of my favorites
I get cold hands so having a system for my hands is key. I am in love with these gloves. They are thin and lightweight yet are fleece lined for extra warmth. I started using them as my go to glove for all around and hiking up while touring. They have long coverage, all the way to my wrists. Even when they have gotten sweaty they are still super warm and easy to deal with. I went with a medium and my hand size is 7" length 8" circumference
