Just got them in today so I am unable to give too much feedback as to grip and durability. They are dexterous enough you could take them to the range, especially if you have a roomy trigger guard. I have large palms, so most gloves fit tight and these were no exception..almost had a hard time putting them on. They are ALL leather(something I look for), except for the black protective patch on the back. Leather will stretch to fit your hand and can be oiled to help with fitting, durability, and water resistance. When you get them, wear them often- the warmth and oil from your hands helps them break in before you put them to hard use. Even though they are for rock climbing, I got them for outdoor work. Very pleased with them but I think they're about $5 more than they should be. Can't wait to get out and use them.
