ordered the large and it fits well. great flexibility with changing temperatures, i.e. handles the cold well (under 25) and isn't too warm at temps above 40. the mobility is nice, too. lightweight and comfortable.
Nice jacket / Poor design
I really like the quality of the jacket but the fit is horrible! Sleeve length is way too long and kinda baggy but the torso is tight! Armpit area was also on the tighter side and not as stretchy. Had to return mine for something else.
Does this jacket have a dwr coating applied to the outside fabric?
It doesn't have DWR coating but is still water and wind resistant!
I have a Patagonia nano puff and am looking for a warmer jacket. I'm considering the OR Refuge and the Patagonia hooded down sweater. I'm curious how the three would compare in terms of warmth.
Of those three, the Patagonia Hooded Down Sweater will keep you the warmest. It uses 800-fill down, which in addition to keeping you warm in lower temperatures, will also keep you comfortable in a wider range of temperatures than the other two jackets.
