Your legs are your most important part.

Sport the Outdoor Research Radiant Hybrid Men's Tights on their own for chilly hikes and late-fall climbs, or layer them up under a shell for extra warmth on January ski missions; either way, the combination of warm Radiant Fleece and breathable Radiant Fleece LT will keep your legs warm, comfortable, and loose, while the Polygiene treatment will keep odor away so your tentmate doesn't give you the stink eye all trip long.

    Warm Base Layer

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: medium
    • Height: 5'9"
    • Weight: 150lbs

I bought these specifically to replace a threadbare pair of BD stretch fleece. I wear them under hard-shell pants for downhill skiing, and have been very happy with the combination of warmth, stretch, weight, and wicking. Definitely on the warmer side for insulation (they would be too warm for me if I was hiking), they are just about perfect skiing in temps from the teens to upper 20s. I bought size medium and they fit on the loose side of snug (as opposed to stretch snug). I might have fit into a size small and taken advantage of the stretch fit, but the medium is fine. For reference I'm 145 lbs, 30" waist, 32" inseam, and quads of a cyclist.

Hey folks, I am in need of some sizing help. OR's website isn't helping at all. They described the Large Inseam at 31", but there's no Waist sizing. If anyone from Backcountry could help me out, tell me the measurements of sizes Small, Medium nd Large (Waist and Inseam)? I have a 32x32 sizing, 161lbs.

Hey Vu, Leta from OR here. You would be a medium in that pant. I went to the OR site and found this sizing chart which shows you are a medium. see this link:

    Hope that helps!
