Packs up supersmall and very light weight.
This coat is super packable and I love the extra length. It is very lightweight and I take it with me just about everywhere. I used to think longer coats were for "old ladies", but it's nice to be that much drier when doing anything in the rain. I haven't done anything strenuous in it, like hiking or backpacking, so I can't attest to its breathability when you're really putting out the heat, but for an everyday rain coat, I love it.

Please make this in extended sizes!
I would buy the heck out of this if I knew it would zip around my chest! I love the length, I love the style, and I know it would be my go to every day jacket!

I like almost everything about it
This jacket looked great on paper, and I was willing to pay top dollar for a jacket that meets my needs. The first one I ordered arrived and I could not for the life of me get the zipper to work. I sent it back and ordered another one. I did get the zipper to work, but it takes almost 5 munites to muscle it into place. I will keep the jacket and hope it gets easier, but will just give myself an xtra 5 minutes to suit up. It is a hassle, and I would not buy it again.

Great for a Rainy Seattle Commute
Love this trench jacket - super waterproof, looks great, perfect for a rainy Seattle commute, great length that I couldn't find with any other outdoor brand. One drawback is the zipper is a bit hard to use and could just be a single zipper instead of double. I also was surprised at how thin the jacket was. Personally, I'd prefer one a bit thicker, but it works great with a down layer underneath.

I love this trench!
This jacket is fantastic. The color is so great. It fits like a glove (TTS). It keeps me super dry. Can't ask for more. The zipper is a bit sticky but it gets better as you use it.

Snug shell
I ordered a size up but it fit me like it was my typical size. I wish it was a little bit more spacious to fit more layers underneath. It does not fit loose as you would hope a trench to fit, especially when you order a size up. It's very thin so you would absolutely need to lay underneath for cooler temperatures. Keeps the rain out and a great waterproof shell.

I think I like it!
I work outside in the PNW and really need a good raincoat. I'm not 100% on this one so far - maybe because it's just a shell and no lining? This week in Seattle has been VERY wet out and the outside of my coat has been soaked and clinging to me - but I'm dry-ish under it - it just doesn't feel like I'm dry because of the thin wet material clinging to me. It dries fairly quickly with the car seat heaters on high in between rain squalls. Anyway - love the length, color and fit.

this jacket is not waterproof
I bought this jacket in September to wear around rainy Seattle, especially for walking the dog. I came in today after walking the dog in the pouring rain and was wet in my shoulders and arms. This is NOT waterproof. Extremely disappointed.

This is not waterproof
I bought this as it was supposed to be waterproof. Had a downpour in Seattle and I am soaked. On the whole I really like Outdoor Research products. This was a expensive mistake. Very disappointing.
