    Greet the gods.

Skin up (or pay for a helicopter) the Pindus to the top of Mount Olympus, greet the gods, maybe take a selfie with Zeus, and then ski your way down powder, chutes, and rocky couloirs with the Outdoor Research Men's Olympus Sensor Gloves. Gore-Tex equips these gloves with reliable waterproof breathable protectioin, and EnduraLoft insulation works with the sherpa Wool lining to give winter-worthy warmth. The stretch twill shell balances between durability and dexterity, and there are molded EVA foam back panels for protection. Outdoor Research also added touchscreen-compatible leather at the index and thumb for convenience, and two adjustments at the wrist and gauntlet cuff for a secure fit.

    barely adequate for the job

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These gloves seem well built and warm when first used, but there are a lot of seams for rain and water to enter / soak the fingers. This is exactly what happened to me when I used these for the first time on a mixed precip day at Whisler. It took about 2 days for the gloves (i.e. fingers) to dry out enough to use later in the week.

This is pretty poor considering the price of these gloves. They seem to work fine if it isn't raining and are quite warm in general.
