Does its job
Overall fantastic hat. Keeps the sun out of my eyes. Mesh at the top does a fantastic job of allowing ventilation. Also keeps rain from pouring down my face. Only flaw is that the string over the top can sometimes move out of place, but not a large problem.

Not SPF 50
Rated at SPF 50. Maybe the brim is, but with the massive super-open mesh panels around the crown, no sun protection for your head at all. If you have short hair, or a shaved head, you are going to burn a nice hexagonal pattern all over your head. This hat is pretty much useless for any real sun protection.

Sizing
Based on the couple of reviews I was really excited to get this product. I measured my head and according to the measurements of the small medium would fit me perfectly and it just flopped over my forehead down to my eyebrows so

Very nice sun hat
I like the color. I like the ventilation. I like the fact that the rim do not fold over when a gust of wind come up. I like the way you can cinch the hat when it is blustery. My head is smaller and the s/m fits great around, but the depth of the hat makes it so it sits lower on my head, just at my eyebrows.

Checks all the boxes.
Just what I was looking for. Lightweight, breathable, comfortable, stylish (as much as one of these can be), and best of all it comes in a L/XL size specifically for a big head. I've got a 60cm noodle so headwear can be a lot of trial and error.
