I'm glad I bought this jacket.

I use my Kulshan Storm jacket for alpine and alpine touring skiing in both dry and coastal maritime climates. I especially like its relaxed fit which, even with a warm fleece jacket underneath and perhaps some items in the pockets, is comfortable and not cramped like so many so-called "resort fit" shell jackets are these days. With a fleece jacket under it, the relaxed fit is snug enough to keep out the wind yet allows enough room for the Goretex fabric to work most efficiently. The ski pass pocket on the left sleeve is a very welcome bonus feature.

Exactly what I needed

Used on foot in rain, freezing rain, snow, and on the slopes in both soggy and standard snow. Perfect fit for layering underneath but not bulky as a shell by itself. Has all the pockets and features except a key clip I guess. 10/10 would buy exact same thing.

Extremely warm jacket

Living in North Dakota I have gotten used to the feeling of extreme cold. While it has not hit -40 yet I have been out with this jacket on in -10 and my core is extremely warm. The jacket is great at keeping you warm when it is windy as well. Highly recommend if you spend more than a couple hours outside in sub zero temperatures.

Another fantastic product

Another fantastic product Used multiple times during the end of the season and the jacket Performance was better than advertised. I wish I would have bought this jacket in the beginning of the season. I look forward to using it next season as my "go to"

Runs Big

Great Jacket, but the sizing is off for me. I'm 5' 8" and 170 and usually fit nicely with M. This one is about 15% too big. Great for layering, yes, but too long in the torso and arms. That said, I love all the pockets for extra gear and the finish is first rate.

This could be my one jacket quiver but something missing

I have used this jacket at many ski mountains around the Northwest including it's namesake several times. The jacket is sized perfect and the pockets are placed perfectly for passes and all the gear I normally carry with me on the mountain. I have had several comments about how good it looks and what kind of jacket it is. The zipper pulls could have been a little larger for easier attachment of external gear like whistle and old school passes. The main zipper is horrid. I have to fight with it every time. When you put all your gear on, the last thing you want to do is fight with a zipper. After a long day on the mountain, the zipper was stuck and I had to pull it over my head to deal with it face to face. On cold or windy days, getting the proper layering right is also a fight. This is like getting the proper lens on your goggles before heading out. I haven't figured the proper layering yet.

This this is dope

Killer jacket! the stying on this thing is pretty incredible. I love the way that it looks. Greta functionality too, water proofing works great and the ventilation is awesome too. Now it just needs to start snowing more...

Tested over 6 years in the AK wilderness

This jacket has a great versatility. I can wear it all winter from the chilly October snows till about January. It performs well down to about -15 F with properly layering. I have used this in all sorts of adventures and casual use across western Alaska.
