So far very happy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have worn once snowboarding and was completely happy. Love the extra layers on the butt and all the zippers for air flow and comfort. Liked pocket placements. No complaints... felt they were true to size chart. 6'4" 240 XL. Can wait to use them again!

I would buy These if they fit better.
I was gonna used these for snowshoeing, skiing/snowboarding, snow blowing, and playing with my kids in the snow. I wanted these because they didn't seem as extreme as Snow Drifter bibs from Patagonia. The chest was very loose and the back (just like the model) was too. 6'2" 250 lbs

Exceptionally well designed and amazingly comfortable
I have worn this skinning and alpine resort skiing in the rain, blizzards, minus temps, and spring skiing without ever wishing I had something else. The bibs are sooooo much more comfortable than a pair of pants, very versatile and adjustable and keep your core warm without needing more than a base layer underneath. Clearly designed by snow riders with ample pockets in the right spots, zippers that will surprise you in their utility, and cuffs that keep snow out but don't end up pinched between your boot and rear binding. Best lowers I have owned for skiing, ever.

Excellent bibs and build quality
I like these bibs. They seem pretty durable and are well made. The one thing I do not like are the ankle cuffs that stretch around your boots. They are super tight and I wish they were a waterproof material and didn't have a little slot in them for ski boot straps. I snowboard so they are useless to me and it allows snow to get in. The non waterproof material is always soaked through and my boots are always a little wet. Never happened with my old snow pants. I bet it would be worse with anything but ski or snowboard boots and not being on a board or skis. Upper chest material could stand to be more breathable. It is very heavy duty soft shell material. Pockets on the thighs and are pretty hard to operate. The bibs have kept me dry and I have enjoyed the insulation in the seat of the pants. It goes from about your butt to your mid back by the belt loops and it is nice for riding the cold or wet chairlifts. Not the best for super warm days and hiking though. If you are curious the entire pant is lined with a lightweight nylon. This makes them quite warm as well for hiking and spring days. A great bib but not for every situation.

I'd try something else
Sizing is a bit off. Big gaps at the top of the bibs. Not to sure why you would make an hour glass tapper at the top of the bibs. Other than that they have good pockets and keep me dry.

Well built for deep snow work
I break and brush deep wilderness Nordic ski trails requiring both snowmobile riding (cold, snow blown, frozen snow covered seat...) and brushing and breaking trail (waist deep wading through snow...). The bibs with a double seat and durability along with mobility are excellent for my uses. The cuffs fit well over my boots and do not require additional gaiters. I'm 6'1", 180 lbs, waist 33, and find the L/G size fits loose over my pile bibs, which I like for freedom of movement.

Very nice
All the pockets are great and it has kept me completely dry and comfortable while snowboarding. The fit is a little on the larger side but I like that because they go nicely over my snowboard boots and no snow has ever gotten in.

Ridiculously oversized
I own a fair amount of OR outerwear and like it because it usually performs and fits me well. I'm 5'11", 160 lbs, 32" waist, 33" inseam, normally an OR size Medium is spot on. But the size medium Mt Baker bibs I received are enormous, I had to shorten the straps almost all the way and there's enough material from the top of the legs up to the top of the bibs to fit two of me inside. I understand these bibs are described as having relaxed fit but for me the sizing is ridiculous. Unfortunately won't work as small is too short in the leg. Materials, construction, features seem solid.
