Comprehensive coverage.

Outdoor Research's pinnacle alpine climbing and backcountry ski glove, the Women's Luminary Sensor Glove provides warmth and weather-protection in the harshest winter environments. Gore Windstopper softshell fabric stops gale-force gusts and driving snow in their tracks while allowing your fingers to move freely and your hands to breathe. The supple, yet tough goat leather palm provides the right combination of durability and dexterity, and the thumb and index finger are touchscreen-compatible so you can snap pics on your smartphone without exposing your skin to the brutal cold.

The wool blend liner keeps your fingers toasty in frigid conditions, and it can be removed when the weather is more forgiving. Removing the liner also helps the glove dry more quickly when you're on a multi-day endeavor. A large, adjustable gauntlet offers plenty of coverage to keep snow, wind, and cold out. When winter brings its worst, make sure you have the Luminary Sensor glove on your side.

Sizing is not true and fingers cold

My handsize (female) sat me square in a women’s medium. My fingers were at the end of the fingers with slight flexion and thumb movement was highly restricted.. Very frustrating. Returned and ordered next size up and they were too big. I wore both pairs walking my dogs at 25 - 30 degrees and my fingers were quite cold. Very disappointing
