I would not buy this product again.

Used snowmobiling in the Winter time. battery failed first season. Called for replacement, company said batteries are not warranted. also the first season index finger on glove wore through material. Cheap material. Had cheaper gloves last for years.

Great Gloves for Snowmobiling

I've used these for several years now, and needed another pair. I have poor circulation in my hands, and these allow me to ride comfortably at 30 below!

Just what I needed

Great for skiing and cold days in the mountains. I purchased a second battery so I can crank em up all day long!

Well, built but heater questionable

I bought these for work use in South Dakota in the winter. I have circulation issues, so I was looking for a glove with a good heater element. These gloves are well built and very warm by themselves. However, I'm not so sure the heater element adds much to the glove - maybe just take the edge off a little when returning hands in from the cold. Additionally, the button is very bright - needs to be covered up in low light conditions. It is also very easy to bump the button by mistake. I like the retaining straps so I can let the gloves dangle when I need extra dexterity. I'd definitely recommend these for their great construction and warmth. However, don't expect the heater element to feel like a furnace.

Fantastic, but get more batteries

These gloves are nothing short of perfect. Following OR's advice, I can make the batteries last a good part of the day, but as a ski patroller, I sometimes am out for long days that start before opening and end after closing. I highly recommend getting two sets of batteries if you're hitting the slopes for more than a few hours.

Dry and warm hands in Antarctica

These gloves were great during my Antarctic expedition. They kept my hands dry and warm - most of the time even without turning the heaters on. On the really cold day I turned them on the high setting and noticed they only heat the backs of the hands but the front of my hands got a little chilly. I do have Raynaud's and my circulation is bad in my hands and feet so I'm probably an extreme case. I'm happy with these gloves!

Not very warm

Only warm on highest setting which gives you short battery life. Very expensive for a not very warm glove.

Highly recommend for people with cold hands or Renauds!

Love these gloves! The only reason I give4 stars is that the button is in a place in which it often gets turned on or off or to another setting unintentionally. This happens when your jacket rubs against it, it may hit a ski pole, etc. I would suggest it be modified to a different position. The other suggestion is that the heat be on both sides of the thumb! I also have the mittens and on very cold days have had to use hand warmers for the palm of the mitten because the heat is only on the back. I must say that all my OR gear is wonderful and for me with Reynauds the heaters are life-changing!

No

We bought 3 pairs of these for working in extreme cold. The first batteries that came with them would not hold a charge. I contacted OR and they sent new batteries that performed exactly the same, poorly. For the price this gloves suck.

Not as warm as expected.

I bought these gloves for bicycling in colder weather. They do not heat up very much, even when fully charged and on the highest (red) setting. So my hands still get cold when cycling when the outside temperature is 20 degrees or below. Do you have any advice? Should I send them back to you at OR to be replaced?
