Awesome Bivy
Great bivy, quite roomy for how small it is packed. Nice and warm when the outer shell is closed, and very easy to set up. Just got back from 5 days in the Everglades with it and had zero complaints.

Yes, I would buy this bivy again
I've used this bivy twice since I purchased it and I'm pleased so far. Using user ratings to make my purchase, I noted the comments about the many zippers. Therefore, I studied the zipper set up when I started and that helped a lot. I still intend to buy a similar-sized tent footprint to reduce the risk of damaging the floor with use.

It's good, but not good for me, here's why...
The gore-tex material is waterproof and windproof. If you can get into this bivy, you have much greater chances for survival in harsh, wet, cold and windy conditions. The quality is top notch. Adds a lot of warmth. The reason why this bivy does not work for me is mainly due to the size and how difficult it is to deploy in the dark when I am cold and tired. The zippers require warm, loose fingers and you will want to practice setting up this bivy before using it in the field. Setup time for this bivy can be very long and for a human of my size (6,1", 235lb, 36" waist, 48" chest), it is so tight that you must zip yourself in with both arms, being careful not to bust the seams. I hope OR can make a single layer, simple version of this bivy, where the zipper is in the middle like a duffel bag, in an XXXL size. I need something I can unroll, unzip, lay my pad down, maybe my sleeping bag, get in with my boots on and then reach straight down and zip up with one hand, without taking my gloves off. If it is big enough, then I can put my pack in above my head which will keep it dry and keep the bivy off my face. That would be rad.

Excellent design
Excellent design. Paired with a few thermal layers and good sleeping bag, and you're golden

the best bivy you can buy.
I believe this is the best bivy you can buy. Having the pole at the top (behind your head) is the perfect place as it provides room for you to breath. this means you wint be creating tons of condensation in your bivy which is a problem some friends of mine have had. the only downside to this bivy is all the zippers, they allow you to remain in the bivy while your arms can stick out with minimal openings. However I feel like each zipper is just another potential failure point and this function is completely useless.

Snug Bug Protection
Built for small/thin sleeping pads, my Exped was a bit too big and touched the material. The bug net is brilliant and would allow for star-gazing in comfort. I found the zipper down one side a bit limiting as it was hard to make the bed prior to climbing in. I was surprised not to be claustrophobic but the small pole around the head is brilliant and leaves a bit of breathing room. I think this is for a specific climate/use.

Great on the rain!
Wasn't planning on using this in the rain but mother nature does whatever she wants. This lil bivy held up to two full days of northern Vancouver Island rain. I am very happy with this product. When not hiding from the rain, it is so awesome to roll over and look up at the stars!

Very cozy, but a tad warm
Took my Interstellar Bivy out for a back country camping trip in mid July. Overall, a great piece of kit. I'm a pretty sweaty sleeper, so I needed to air out the bivy during the day otherwise the area around my feet would feel a little damp. A lot of reviews griped about the zippers, but I found them pretty intuitive. Packs up very small and light. I am 6'1" and found it comfortable but snug, with about an inch of clearance for my head. If you position yourself well, the top of the bivy remains upright and the mesh does not fall against your face, but it does take a bit of trying to get it right.

Great bivvy
I've found this to be a great bivvy in a range of conditions. It's reasonably light and compact, and I like that you can zip only the mesh to keep the bugs out on warm dry nights. I recently spent a super rainy night out and this kept me dry. There was some wet-out and a bit of condensation on the inside, but my sleeping bag was dry. All of the zipper are a bit excessive, but it's easy enough to keep all of the extra ones zipped down and out of the way.
