Excellent Pant
I brought these pants along on a recent multi-day hike. I needed something lightweight, waterproof and breathable, these fit the bill. They pack down to take up almost no space and weight next to nothing. On our second day I got to try them out as we went from sun to showers pretty quickly. They did fit over my hiking pants okay, but I would recommend sizing up 1x from whatever you would normally buy. On the 3rd and 4th day it snowed and rained(respectively) and I ended up just wearing the pants over a set of merino thermals which worked like magic. I was never feeling like I was overheating at all, never noticed any moisture buildup and stayed bone dry from the elements. I did have some solid wear in the area around the hip belt for my pack and would maybe suggest OR add some small amount of heavier material in those areas. All in all, would highly recommend these pants for the weight and space limited.

Not Waterproof
These pants are ok, and if I'm in the rain for a brief period, all is well. If I spend more than an hour or so in the rain, however, the pants soak through and my clothes beneath get wet.

Helium Rain Pants
Fabulous product! I love these pants. The waist line is flexible and adjusts easily if you need to layer. I do wish there was a little more room in the groin area. I have found when hiking up a steep grade a lot of tension is put on the pants. Haven't ripped yet but I feel like they will eventually.

Great Value, Well Made WP Rain Pants
Title says it all. My only gripe is that they are a bit tight in the waist. I normally am a 30-31" waist and their small was too tight. The inseam on the small was good on me, but I lost that when going up to a medium to better fit in the waist.

Not waterproof
Second time I bought this item. Returned first because it was not waterproof. After wearing the second one iin light rain for an hour on three different occasions, once again found all my clothes under the jacket wet. Am now in process of trying to return this second one.

Good rain pant. Lacking features such as pockets, but given the light weight nature of the product, very effective. Purchased for a multiday bikepacking trip, I chose them for the size and weight and truthfully because many other options I was considering were sold out. While not cycling specific, I found then suitable on the bike with a strap to bring in the extra fabric around my calves. Very comfortable to walk in and around camp. Super water resistant if not 100% waterproof in my experience.

Not waterproof
Brand new pair, never worn until I used the in the Smokies. Wet through most of the legs and took forever to dry. Love the fit, but these are no where near waterproof. Maybe I got a bad pair

Good for light use
I was excited to try out the helium pant because they were pretty light weight. They are good for powder, or a commute in the rain. However, if you're doing any objective that has ice, rock, or require a lot of movement, these pants would probably rip. My first pair ripped just stepping over a downed tree, and my second pair ripped in multiple places just climbing up some rocks.

Water resistant but not waterproof
Brought these pants on a trip to Alaska. Held up well in the rain and from splashes of water while kayaking, but my seat had water droplets and my bum was soaked through after. So these pants are great for rain but if you kneel or sit down on anything wet, the water will get through. I am a size 29-30 waist but bought the medium and it fits over my hiking pants well. If I got the small I think it would still fit but would be very tight. Otherwise they feel high quality, are very light, and easy to store in my backpack
