Perfect little package of rain proofing!

Purchased for Mtn biking and hiking and possibly to travel in England next year. All my other jackets are water resistant, but not waterproof. Needed something for those unexpected downpours in the mtns to keep me from getting wet. Stuffs into its own pocket for an approx 4 x 4 inch square which fits nicely in backpack. I love the triple functionality!! Hike, Bike or travel ! Little stiffer than I had imagined, but that's the trade off to get WATERPROOF! Got a small and fits my 5'4", 130# body just right; not too big, not too small.

Yes

I got this for my granddaughter for backpacking. I've owned my own since they came out and it travels in my go bag with me 99% of the time. It isn't bomb proof in a downpour or all day western Washington rain like Gortex but it's darn good for its weight.

Wets Out In One Hour of Medium Rain

I am quite disappointed with this jacket. I was unable to test this jacket until a few months after buying it because I live in a drier area. When I finally got to test it out, I wore it for an hour in medium/light rain, and it soaked the down jacket I was wearing underneath. I am thoroughly disappointed and cannot return it now either, I was preparing to hike the Appalachian trail and now have a worthless expensive jacket and have to invest in a new one. I wish OR had a better return policy so customers could lightly test out products and still return them if they are not the expected quality. Wast of money, please really consider if purchasing it is worthwhile.

Good for the snow. Very light

I wore it once to hike in the snow, and it kept me dry. It wasn't a heavy snow, so I'll keep trying it to see if it holds up.

Perfect Rainy Run Jacket

This jacket has become my go to for rainy runs. I keeps the rain off and does not seem to trap the sweat too much. Feels like a large medium but that is ok because I can layer underneath for cold, winter runs.

Great fit!

Bought this to wear uphill skinning. Have worn it in snowy, windy conditions with temps in the low teens. It's waterproof and wind proof and xs fits perfectly (5' and 104lbs). Would be nice to have another pocket but otherwise it's perfect.

Best I've found for ultralight rain gear

Surprised, even shocked, above 10,000 ft on dirt bike in Colorado back country (Alpine Loop,) driving blowing sheets of rain did not penetrate this pertex at all. Kept going, did not have to stop and wait it out. Would not have believed it had I not experienced it myself.

Almost Perfect.

I have a men's version of this that's 5 stars. Got this for my wife and we were disappointed to see it doesn't have hand pockets??? Not sure if that's just a new version, or gender specific.
