Midlayer upgrade, great rain shell pairing

Got this for a ski trip to whitefish. Temps get pretty cold on the mountain compared to hood so I wanted an extra layer. This thing is toasty but also super comfy. Since the ski trip I have been pairing it with my rain jacket in dog walks. Full down sleeves make me too hot in the spring. Love to wear this at my desk in the morning while I warm up and get my day in full swing.

Excellent fit and great for layering

This vest fits as advertised, layers well beneath a shell, and looks good when worn by itself. I wear for skiing when additional warmth is needed but without the bulk of a down coat.

Construction quality seems good, but it's not a good fit for athletic build. I'm 6'0", 175lbs, and long arms. The arms of the Medium are actually long enough for me, which was great, but the body (torso) was too short and loose-fiting. Returned it after trying on so can't comment on durability. Also would have been nice to have a cinch to tighten back the hood for better visibility.

Men's Helium Down Vest

This vest is GREAT. It is also extremely warm. We've had temps in the teens for the last few weeks and this has been excellent at keeping me warm. I had a seam issue with my prior vest from OR and the return and replacement was so easy. Great company and will continue to buy from them.

I am 6' tall, 175 and the large fits perfect. It's warm and looks great.

Great quality and look.

Very good quality and extremely warm for a vest. I am 5'7 and the medium got me perfect. The chest pocket fits my iPhone 13 and the hand warmers are lined on both sides and feel nice. The arm holes are sized correctly compared to some other brands that I couldn't wear due to them being to small if you have an athletic build. I love to layer this under my chore coat and parka.

Great Base Layer

Been using this underneath by Carbide jacket for inbounds skiing. Perfect base layer to keep me extra warm.

I usually like the chest pocket. Feels great not so deep and just easy to pull out phones. Very light and great collar to cover the neck. Nice colors. I would buy OR again.

Perfect balance

The vest weighted in a manner that maintains the correct amount of warmth. I felt extremely comfortable one my hikes in Joshua Tree. In addition, the left upper exterior pocket is just the right size for my phone. Highly recommended.
