OK, but grip surface is bulky
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
I was excited to get these, and they seem warm enough, but I didn't like the grip surface on the fingers and palm. It feels stiff and plastic to me, and makes stowing the gloves very bulky. The surface reminds me of what the hands of a gorilla suit would be like. That said, I'll bet these work great for their those who need extra gripping ability.

Really good for bike commuting
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Fit:
- True to size
- Size Bought
- Medium
These things stop the wind. I can ride my bike down to about 25 degrees in these things. If they get wet they stay warm too. And they're durable too. I have 3-4 seasons on this pair. My favorite gloves ever!

Solid touring gloves
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Fit:
- True to size
I've been using these gloves ski touring for a few years now and am a big fan. I really like the big pull tab, that makes pulling them on and off easy, which is great while transitioning. I am a split-boarder and have some hardware I need to fiddle with at the top and bottom. I also appreciate the extra layer on the palm, that keep them dry if I pick up my poles after dropping them in the snow. My only gripe is that I wish they fit under the ski gloves I use for downhill, these are just a bit too thick to slide under them. Overall they are comfortable and warm, even for weekend long yurt trips.

Wrist stitching busted after a few uses
- Size Bought
- XL
- Height

I like OR products, and maybe this was just a fluke, but the stitching on the wrist of one glove busted, creating a 1" hole in the glove. I've only used them half a dozen times, too, so I feel like this was fairly extreme...
