    Nice shorts

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 32
    • Height: 5'11"
    • Weight: 165lbs

These are durable and comfortable, and the length is really great. One zipper pocket makes them super useful for your valuables without looking too hardcore. they're a bit sturdier material than I expected, not your super lightweight short, but they are very stretchy and comfy.

    Breathable Comfort at the Crag

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 30x30
    • Height: 5'11"
    • Weight: 185lbs

The entire Ferrosi line from OR is incredible breathable and comfortable for your most dynamic, demanding outdoor activities. These shorts are no exception. I recommend them for anything from hiking to climbing and anything in between. Note that if you have thunder thighs, you should size up about an inch at the waist.

    Active Shorts with Casual Style

    • Height: 5'9"
    • Weight: 160lbs

I've used the Ferossi pants, jacket, and shorts heavily. It's such a fun line for adventuring. I said this about the pants too and everything still applies. I swear these things are like a second skin. They move well due to the nylon and spandex construction, breathe well, have a nice zippered pocket, and crush it on hikes/climbing/adventures of all sorts. I wear as often as I can and I'm taking them to Peru for adventures too. I'm impressed by how well they've held up against scarpes and brushes too.

I can be anywhere between a 30 and a 32 and a 30 is perfect here. I wouldn't say size down for sure, but that's my experience.

    Adventure shorts!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 32x10
    • Height: 6'0"
    • Weight: 175lbs

These shorts are perfect for hiking and climbing in warmer temperatures. they are comfortable, breathe well, water resistant, and durable. The rip stop material makes them burly enough to hold up on the climbing walls. They would also do great biking, yoga class, and in a casual setting. I usually wear a 32 and the 32x10 worked out perfectly for me. These are awesome, I would recommend them to everyone!

    Adventure shorts!

    Lightweight and very comfy

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 32
    • Height: 5'11"
    • Weight: 175lbs

Length of 10 is perfect for me but is shorter than my other shorts. Very stretch and comfortable. A little tight around the butt but not uncomfortable at all... overall true to size. My favorite shorts so far. Note that the current version of 10 inch length has a very different length/fit/design from the previous year's. This current year's model is much better.

    Has Flaws

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 36
    • Height: 6'1"
    • Weight: 250lbs

Like someone else said the bottoms are way too baggy and the side pocket, is held on by GLUE. I had to spend an extra 15.00 and have it sewn reinforced. 3 stars because I love OP

    Love em!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: 32
    • Height: 6'1"
    • Weight: 175lbs

I typically wear a 33 or 34. Based on the reviews I ordered a 32 and it's a custom fit. They feel great on and at 6'1" 175 they suit my physique. I can do Yoga in these or wear em out. When I put these on I'm the hottest dude in the pack. I'm afraid I'm going to wear them out because I can't seem to take them off.

    Too baggy at the ends

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: Large
    • Height: 6'2"
    • Weight: 195lbs

Overall, the are good quality. But i feel like im wearing a kilt or a dress, they're 12" leg openings. Even with my big quads, too much imo!

    Pewter Color

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 30
    • Height: 6'1"
    • Weight: 170lbs

I purchased these in two more colors and I'm very happy with the product. Please see my previous reviews for full details - I'll keep buying these as long as they make them!

    Perfect all-purpose active shorts

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: 32
    • Height: 6'2"
    • Weight: 195lbs

I'm a size 34 waist, and that's the size I bought for my first pair of these. The waist is definitely loose, although there really isn't any risk that they could fall down, as the stretchy material is somewhat snug around the hips. However, it does give that sensation of "wearing nothing" as another reviewer mentioned, so I use a belt with that pair. When I bought another pair in size 32, however, I fell in love. This size is snug, but the waist is somewhat stretchy so there is no discomfort. They are fitted, stylish, minimalist, super light, stretchy, wicking. There is no uncomfortable constriction, and they allow for full range of movement. To compare to some other "technical" shorts I've worn: I have a pair of Mountain Hardwear Canyon shorts that I also really like, but they have very little stretch in the fabric and some of the pocket stitching has started to unravel. The Prana Stretch Zion shorts have a seemingly more substantial, but somewhat less stretchy fabric. The fit is also different, with a snugger fit around the waist and looser fit around the hips and legs. Both those shorts fit true to size compared to the loose waist of these Ferrosis. All that said, the Ferrosi shorts are my current favorite.

    I’ll be buying more...

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large
    • Height: 6'0"
    • Weight: 185lbs

Bought a second pair after one weekend wearing these shorts. I’ve now camped, biked, swam and jet-setted in these shorts and they’re great in all instances. Super comfy, stretchy and quick drying, but still sleek enough to wear on a plane or to the local brewery without feeling like a goon.

    Feels like you're wearing nothing

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 30
    • Height: 6'1"
    • Weight: 170lbs

These shorts are incredibly soft, durable, light weight and they look great. The pockets are made of mesh which helps make them even more breathable. Highly recommended.

    Super comfy

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 34
    • Height: 6'2"
    • Weight: 190lbs

These have very quickly become my favorite shorts. They are lightweight, stretchy, and incredibly comfortable, but they still feel sturdy. I've been wearing them for a week straight and love them.
