Perfect for most days
What I really like about this is the ear hooks for keeping it up, and the material. It wicks away moisture REALLY well, so even after hours of use it doesn't feel wet and gross against your face. Do note that it doesn't cover your ears at all, so for really cold days you need to pair it with something that does. All in all, I'd definitely recommend this to others.

Great mask and filter option.
This has worked great for me on trail runs and being able to quickly pull this up over my face as I pass by others. The ear hoops allow you to keep it sitting just over your chin, ready to pull up when needed.

Wonderful, comfortable product that protects you and doesn't cause goggles to fog.

Versatile, comfortable.
Bought for upcoming mountaineering trip but have used it for skiing/snowsports. Warm enough for me but still breathable.

Comfortable, Warm and Fast-Drying
I have been using my Essential Midweight Ubertube for a few weeks now and am very happy with it. My main purpose for it was for skiing at resorts to keep my mouth/nose covered. It stays up over my nose easily (the draw cord on the back is great for tightening it) and I have had an easy time breathing with it on. Backcountry hiking with it over both nose and mouth, it gets a bit harder to breath, but that makes sense since I'm usually sucking wind anyway! It dries out pretty quickly when I take it off too. Also, the Ubertube is warm, but not overly hot. I'd definitely recommend!

stellar!
This face mask/gator is awesome! I have been so impressed with how it doesn't fog up my goggles or freeze even after me wearing it nonstop for a full day of skills. Because of the nose piece, it doesn't collapse into your mouth while skiing and it super comfortable. Even when covid is over, I will still use this as my primary face mask for skiing!

Yes
Use this for skiing this 2021 season where masks are 100% required at all times. Ear loops are great, keeps it from slipping with the combo back tightening option. The nose grip keeps upper part tight, and with my goggles have had almost NO issues with fogging up. Only thing I've found is when I'm breathing super heavy either from hiking up to get to mountain from parking lot, or a fast run down mountain, it can feel hard to breath if I don't have enough space around my nose/mouth. Also had one issue when the conditions quickly deteriorated and the mask got wet from the snow/ice/wind. It was hard to breathe due to the water absorption. But I remained warm and the mask stayed up. I could easily pull down to breathe while skiing solo, until I came up to the lift again. Great item and would definitely recommend.

Great face covering for skiing
Good for wearing when it's too warm for the balaclava and too cool for the lightweight ubertube. OR nails it again with a great face covering for skiing! Breathable, comfortable and my googles don't fog when it's fit properly.

Great all around
This has been great for work in the harsh cold and wind, outside for hours. It's also nice to have the draw string in the back to hold it up and not have to use the ear loops. The ear loops do interfere with with a radio ear piece so it's nice to have the draw string for a back up.

Great for extreme cold and windchill
This is a great face covering for extreme cold and wind chill. Moisture does build up after awhile, making it difficult to breath through if your hiking or working hard. I use it to combat the extreme cold where I work and to meet the requirement for a mask. I haven't inserted the filters in it because the dual layer is already thick and meets my requirement.
