I have two of these masks that I alternate for daily use. As other reviewers have noted, the mask is comfortable, adjustable and secure, but the filters are expensive and awkward. So I make my own. I bought a big box of cheap blue surgical-type masks and I found a way to cut them to fit the mask and stay in place. Try it!

Poor filter

The mask itself is quite nice. My complaint concerns the replaceable filter. It is not sized properly as it will not stay put. I am surprised that such a nice mask would have such a problem.

I got this to wear skiing specifically but I want to wear it all the time, it is so comfortable and fits so well. Yes, the fact the filter doesn't go in between fabric to hold it perfectly in place is kind of a questionable design move, but it's still been totally fine for me and doesn't detract from the absolute awesomeness. The filter still hasn't ever moved around or anything for me once it's inside the mask so I very highly recommend this mask, especially for skiing or other activities.

I bought 2 masks for work and they are definitely the most comfortable masks I’ve found so far. I use them daily, at least 8 hours each day. Because I use them so intensely, I need to change the filters daily. I looked at buying a month supply, and damn! $50 bucks a month on filters? I’m going to have to look for an alternative. Sad to see a company capitalizing on Covid like this. The mail only comes with 3 filters.

My review is consistent with comments of others. The mask fits great, is comfortable, and the best I've encountered. Also, I have a larger head and this one fits more comfortably than all others I've tried. 5 stars for mask. The filter insert will not stay put, bunches up and moves around. 1 star for filter. Its such a nuisance that I've stopped wearing this mask. If OR could design a way to get the filter to not move around, then this would be 5 stars all around.

Outside mask is very good quality. The filter does bunch inside the outside mask, however, making for a sometimes uncomfortable fit. It would be better if the filter were more securely attached to the mask. Otherwise, I like the mask.

this is my favorite face mask thus far. i have been wearing it skiing and have had far less issues with my goggles fogging up than other masks, though i do notice it a bit on warmer days. i really like that you can just throw it in the washing machine and i do find the breathability of this mask to be really good considering it has so many layers (as it should)! the fit is not *perfect* for my small face, but i am able to adjust it such that it works well enough. what i like the most is the mouth section stays off my mouth when i'm breathing heavily unlike others i have tried. i have seen a lot of people skiing in gaiters and single layer masks this season -- likely bc other masks are hard to breathe in -- and i feel so much better having the extra protection this mask offers. do yourself a favor and invest in something that you can breathe in WITH the multiple layers that doctors recommend! i also recommend buying another pack of filters as you'll cycle through them fast if you're breathing heavily while using this mask.

The mask fits my face very well. I really like the adjustability of the mask. The inserts move around a bit. Just takes some practice, aka, experience to get the inserts to stay put. Overall, great product from OR.

I have two of these and I love the fit and finish of these masks, however, the stupid (yet needed) filters love to slip and fall so they are jamming into my nostrils (wife does not have this issue - smaller face). Yes, order more filters when you get these.

I can't recommend these masks any higher. They fit all face sizes which is great! As a glasses wearer, I struggled to find a mask that wouldn't constantly fog up my glasses. These were the best ones I've tried and trust me, I've tried a ton! The nose wire is great and holds its shape well after prolonged use. Let's face it, mask arent going away for the foreseeable future so why just settle for one that's meh? The filter holder could use some fine-tuning on OR's end.

These are easy to wear and accommodate a wide range of face sizes. Fabric is strong and works fine for me on moderate hikes and bike rides, but it is a little loose (not stiff) and can sort of suck in to my face on an inhale or breeze. As another review notes, the filter fitting is not ideal - the filter slots into tabs on the side and doesn't stay in place well, your face is up against the filter. I have other masks where the filter slides into a pouch between your face and the rest of the mask, which helps hold the shape better.

These masks have a lot of pluses, the high nose and wire over the nose make it easier to place so that my glasses don't get fogged, and they are really comfortable. I'm not sure about the filter insert as it keeps getting wadded up inside the mask. Are the filters supposed to be washable? I tried washing one, and it came out wadded and wouldn't hold its shape inside the mask after that. Hopefully the OR design team are wearing these all the time, look forward to the 2.0 version.

These are super comfortable for extended periods of time. They come with a couple replaceable filters for added protection- easy to insert and remove. I’ve ordered a couple now so I can still have one on hand when one is in the wash.
