    Light and Highly Water Resistant

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I got this pack to use on a river trip- we wanted something that would be easy to clip in, keep our stuff dry, and easy to use on hikes. This one fit the bill! I was surprised at just how light and packable this is, while the fabric still maintains durability. The waterproofing worked well for our needs- it definitely isn't as waterproof as a real dry bag, so if you're looking for something that can be submerged for a long period of time without leaking, I would keep looking. But for getting splashed by waves and some rain, it worked well. Without any sort of back support, I can't say that it's very comfortable- especially for a heavy load. But we just stuffed it along the backside with extra layers, and that made it comfortable for short hikes.
All in all, for our needs- it was perfect. If you are hunting for something super light and packable for say a summit push, or a casual river trip like us, then I would look no further.
